07.01.2022 We loved seeing local Main Beach cafes' get in the spirit of the festival! Image Featuring - Hard Coffee Main Beach. Coffee is a lot more than just a drink; it's something happening. 05.01.2022 Today we thought we'd enjoy a little floral handbag creative with Richard Christensen from RC flowers and Events. Overview: In this demonstration, Richard will show you his process for making an eye-catching floral handbag.... Biography: Growing up in Rosevale on a dairy farm located in the Scenic Rim, I got my inspiration at an early age creating arrangements for my grandmother and mother from the various crops we grew. In my teens, I started successfully entering floral designs on the local show circuit and my passion continued to grow for the floral and horticultural industries. The Industry quickly became a career for me, as I loved using unique and interesting materials to create mind-blowing, award-winning arrangements. My Floristry achievements include: Interflora Queensland Junior 2011 Florist of the Future 2011 Interflora People’s Choice winner 2012 Florist of the Year Mystery Box First place 2015 Florist of the year Duplication Second place 2015 Florist of the year Fascination Second place2015 Florist of the year 3rd Place 2016 Toowoomba Carnival flowers 2010-2017 Brisbane Ekka Mystery Box winner 2019. I have also gained valuable experience in participating in multiple workshops with Bart Hassam. It is encouraging to be able to help people gain an understanding and awareness of the fantastic passion florists have and to give them an insight into what is involved behind the scenes of the industry. I find the Floral Industry very fulfilling, to be able to design eye-catching creations and to see how flowers can bring so much happiness and warmth to everyday life. It is rewarding for me to see people’s reactions to my creations. A smile paints a thousand words https://mainbeachflowerfestival.com.au//how-to-make-a-flo/
