24.01.2022 Main Building Group have completed an office partition project for Accenture at Level 18, 321 Exhibition St, Melbourne. White boards are now officially a thing of the past. Along with the powder coated frame and glass work, we installed magnetic writable partition panels. What a fantastic idea!! No more searching for a white board for your next meeting or presentation, just get out a marker and start writing on the walls.

24.01.2022 Parts of Victoria were lashed with a massive storm on Sunday 9th October 2016. Average wind speeds of 80kph were recorded with gusts exceeding 100kph. This weather event occurred after the second-wettest September on record for Victoria. The state rainfall was 94% above average, the highest since 1916. Many areas, particularly in the State's west, had their highest September daily rainfall on record and the highest total September rainfall on record. Not surprisingly, the g...round around Victoria remains very wet and soggy. Add to this the awesome but terrifying wind event of last Sunday and the inevitable happens, the roots of trees that have stood for decades no longer have the strength of hardened ground to hold on to and succumb to the strength of the wind. Massive trees have come down around the state, and some of the worst affected communities are in the leafy outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It is estimated that 120,000 homes were left without power, but the surely these events have a greater impact on those who have property damaged due to these falling trees. Never underestimate the trauma such an event can cause. The SES and CFA crews are amazing at assisting those affected, but when the trees are cleared and the tarps are covering the debris often those affected do not know which way to turn or what the next step is. Insurance companies provide assistance to their customers in undertaking a "makesafe" and damage assessment but in events as large as this, it often takes time. If property owners have no insurance for these types of events they can be confused about what comes next. As this project was time critical, we completed this on schedule and on budget. 09.01.2022 Well they say no job is too big.......maybe they forgot about the size of carparks in the city? Thanks to the team for this monumental effort and getting the grind and seal of Dock 1 at QV Melbourne done. The long hours and late nights paid off and the end result looks amazing.
