24.01.2022 Hi parents and carers, an update from Lts Star and Charlie. Mainly music will be going ahead tomorrow and next week, with the following precautions: - we are asking our lovely volunteers not to come in as they are all in the vulnerable age group. - if you or your family are unwell, vulnerable, or have been in contact with people recently returned from overseas, we ask that you not come in until after the school holidays. - mainly music will be free for now, but we are asking ...everyone to bring their own snacks, as food-sharing is considered high risk right now. - we expect that it will be quiet enough that we will be able to maintain 1.5m distance between adults, as more and more families choose to stay home. We respect that some of you will be choosing not to come out to small gatherings, and we look forward to seeing you on the other side. 22.01.2022 Hello volunteers and families. Charlie and Star are thinking of you all as we begin another 6 weeks in lock-down. This certainly puts all of our plans on hold, and is a stressful time for adults and kids alike. Don't forget that you can contact us for help if you're struggling. We can assist with: -food vouchers and hampers -nappies and toiletries -financial counselling -vouchers for our thrift shop... -pastoral care (over the phone). I've also put together a few phone numbers for anyone who needs some mental health support. See more

22.01.2022 Hello Mainly Music families. Charlie met with volunteers today to discuss restarting MM in term 3. Currently, it's recommended that we have MM outside with a speaker. This would avoid some of the risks that meeting in large groups involves however; carers will need to bring their own morning tea and family groups stay on their picnic rugs, there will be no toy play, and it's subject to having good weather. If we have MM indoors, there will also be no toy play and carers will... need to bring water bottles and morning tea. We will need to limit how many people come to each session to 25, and everyone will need to assist us with cleaning. We have a few weeks to make a decision, and would like to hear from you too. 18.01.2022 Monday December 9th and Friday December 13th will be our final Mainly Music sessions for the year. Children are invited to wear Christmas clothes and if you could please bring a small snack to share with the group it would be greatly appreciated.

Because the Victorian government is starting a shut-down of non-essential services from Tuesday, we have decided to suspend MN until after Easter. Please be kind to yourselves- we will be thinking of you all as we learn how to be stuck at home with kids for the next weeks. Reach out via message if youre struggling and need support

17.01.2022 Hi parents and carers, Lt Star here. Mainly music will go ahead as normal this week. If youre well, wed love to see you there. We will be reminding everyone to use the hand sanitiser and of good hygiene, but at this stage the government advises small gatherings should go ahead. If anything changes we will let you know. If you or your child are at high risk due to health issues, and have decided to begin social distancing, we understand and will be thinking if you.
