11.01.2022 So, what exactly happens in a mainly music session? It's simple - fun! mainly music is a fun, interactive music session where kids, parents and caregivers can... enjoy music, movement, interaction, rhymes, puppets and more. mainly music is a structured session but the focus is on the interaction between big person and child. The amazing outcome is learning and development numbers, alphabet, colours, direction, using fine motor skills, practicing jumping and skipping and hopping and more! The majority of mainly music groups are not led by qualified music teachers. Thats because weve found ways to deliver the music so that the big person and their child are connecting and learning. As an added bonus, each session is followed by an eat/play/chat time. This is a chance for mums, dads, and caregivers to recharge their batteries and for children to socialise and play.

23.11.2021 We had a fabulous end of term Party Day for our Wednesday Session today as we celebrated the reason for the season - Jesus! 10 children graduated - heading to kindy or school, we made reindeer antlers, decorated biscuits with the highlight of a special man in red visiting - Father Christmas who chatted with the kids giving them a special pressie from mainly music. Our last full session for the year is tomorrow in Impact Auditorium - just like today's- don't forget to b...ring a plate of food to share and dressup christmassy!
