23.01.2022 Hi everybody, Hows everyones Monday been? Hard to think, that there is what; 15 days till Santa arrives? Hey, speaking of Santa; we did have the bollards video & commentary ready to go Friday - but we had an I.T hardware & software prob - so after much, as one Jeremy Clarkson would describe as "Much shouting and swearing" at the problems - we are very close to getting it up and live for you. ... We are aiming to get it up later tomorrow morning - so stay tuned, as we also discovered some pics from back in the mid noughties ( think 2005 / 2006 onwards ), of bollards and speed humps projects weve done. Everyone, thanks for your understanding - we have had the odd " Guys; looking for it on our feed - but where is it? But we do love your work, and we need speed humps at our car park very soon....." ( extract of an email we got ) message - but it will be up tomorrow :) Till tomorrow Team Maintcomm

23.01.2022 Good morning all, Just following on from our " Check Your Load " video we posted over the weekend - we wanted to share with everybody, a second variant of our increasingly popular Custom Data Plates. This particular order, which is an open one, for this client, came about as a result, of ( in our clients words ):... 1. Our excellent, high quality work 2. Quick and efficient speed from initial instructional briefing to delivery 3. and that we under promised and over delivered to client - which included our constant " every stage updates communication " Here is an extract, of our referring clients email, from earlier this month: " Not a problem in Recommending you to other people as you provide very good service. Sometime in the near future I will be ordering more of the same template with different information on it, for NSW items " ( * Now, if you are wondering why we dont mention who this client and person referring is - it is due to a long standing Non Disclosure arrangement. We can, and are limited to, discussing / showcase the products we make / supply etc, and projects we are involved with. This particularly enforced when we have done Defense Related projects ) Now, the current batch we did, has been sent to WA and will be used in both WA & the NT. These ones are a white background with black text, but with these Data Plates, we can: 1. put any sort of information thats required, on the plates - including your logo ( if needed ) 2. do them in various materials, including self stick 3. all have a special, long life coating finish, for a very long service life 4. make them in any size, to suit your application Q: How long do the plates, take to make, and be received for the end user? A: Depending on the level of data information, size, materials etc - eg: a 50x units batch order, can be turned around in 10 working days - on average. But if you have a larger order, then we will advise you of time frames, at time of order. Q: What was the clients feedback for their order? A: Here is the actual email answer, our Managing Director received Friday Feb 22, 2019 at 1.21pm CSST " Hi Andrew The ID plates have arrived and they look great. Excellent service, thanks again. " And this customer now has a blanket, open order for these plates :) Enjoy the pics. If you want any info, or want a quote on your safety / signs / speed humps / dats plates etc - just inbox us. We check it 3 times a day. Cheers, Team Maintcomm

But heres a quick slideshow of the morning. Cheers, Team Maintcomm

Yeah, we know we " bang on about ", the good old slip / slop / slap routine ( sunscreen / hat / long shirt etc ), but another crucial thing is: Staying Hydrated!... 21.01.2022 Morning folks, Team Maintcomm wanted to let everyone know, that our e-mail servers are offline at the moment. This is due to server maintenance going on. 20.01.2022 Good afternoon all, We wanted to share with everyone a 3rd variation of our increasingly popular Aluminium Data Plates. These ones we just did, are for pipeline testing. We did these ones as part of a continuing open ended project.... The info on these plates are sequentially sequenced as the pipes were tested in the order of numbering. In addition the info is easily readable and very quickly informs either the engineers or inspectors, of vital data they can cross reference. We had a question on cost, from an interstate follower, come thru on the PM Inbox. Question was: " What is the cost per unit, given all the info you guys have to pace on the plates ". Yeah, good question, and we welcome everybodys questions - no such thing as a silly question. Well, the short answer is - every project has customised specific pricing, as no 2 plates are the exact same eg: different data / size / shape / non stick or self stick etc etc. And in addition, there is a minimum order quantity. Plus we can make any shape / size / style / thickness etc, to suit your project. Weve got a couple of things, were working on, and well bring them to you all soon. Till later, Cheers, Team Maintcomm

13.01.2022 Good afternoon folks, Re: Maintcomm and the COVID-19 Virus We have a saying at Maintcomm: " Look after your customers and clients, and they will look after you. "... With the ongoing issues surrounding COVID-19 / Corona Virus, causing many a headache for businesses, their staff, contractors, service providers, suppliers etc, what is Maintcomm doing during these unprecedented times? Well, we are getting on with the job! Health and Safety never stops and nor does Maintcomm. The good news for all our clients, customers & customers we have spoken with who wish to become a part of the Maintcomm Family - We Are Open For Business, and here to continue to assist you all with your: -- Products Quotes and New Products Orders -- Products Enquiries -- And all existing products orders that require delivery, or that require those products to be fitted as per our instructions received. 13.01.2022 Ahhhh... right. You know that a number of eye injuries incurred, from welding are caused by improper use of safety gear. This bloke? Well..... enough said? Dont be like this bloke - always practice safe welding! ( and a thanks to Jessi Combs for this one )... Cheers Team Maintcomm

12.01.2022 Good afternoon everybody - and, Happy New Year! How did you celebrate 2019s arrival? Was it a good farewell to 2018, and celebrate in style, with a huge welcome for 2019? Were interested from you all globally, how the celebrations went - so please share it with us; wed love to hear from you! For Team Maintcomm, it was a good time, to finalise the prep work, for a current signage / staircase / pedestrian safety rail project, were doing for a local customer. We ended up ei...ther at the warehouse, or the workshop, materials prepping / sizing etc. Its a bit on the warm side this week in Adelaide; we have 41 degrees today, so OHSW Regs kick in. This means no outdoor work if the temps are over 35 degrees. Just remember to Slip Slop Slap, and reduce your UV exposure. Skin cancers can slowly creep up on you, if you dont follow good sun protection safety. Well be finishing this, the first of many projects, for 2019 in a few days time - so well get the new slides video up, around Wednesday. As for the other " From the Maintcomm Archives " slides video - well.... sorry about that, but itll be up tomorrow. More pics taken, to show everybody how our products stand the test of time. The Big Boss drove past, a major media networks station today, where wed done a custom manufacture / install of heavy duty marine grade stainless mirrors, signage, the odd bollard ( these are inside the building, and sorry - but no access. We are told that the bolls are in great condition :) ) - and hed remarked, " we did that job 13 years ago now, and they still look near as new! ". Bring you this (mirrors) as well, tomorrow (y). Chat soon Team Maintcomm

12.01.2022 Hi folks, From all of us here at Maintcomm, we wish all of you and your families a very Happy New Year & Safe 2021. We're back mid January.... Till then - stay safe at work. Cheers Team Maintcomm

12.01.2022 Another project we have been involved with recently has been with our new range of heavy duty steel, weatherproof SDS Documents Holder Boxes. These ones are in addition to the range of heavy duy PVC SDS Document boxes, but our steel units are designed for toughness & durability. Great thing about these SDS boxes os that you can mount them to just about anything you can think of, as the have 4x mounting points plus weatherseals, adjustable threaded staylock clips and a brigh r...ed powdercoat finish. And on top of that - they say what the box contains, which means in an emerg situation or general SOP ( standard operating procedure ) you can simply open the box, grab the SDS docos and away you go. The slideshow contains the shots of the actual SDS boxes, mounted to CNG Trailer Field Units. Youll note that the boxes are mounted at the front of the trailer - reason? Safety First & Document accessability. If youd like more info on these or any of our range of SDS Document Holders - just PM us here, and well guide you thru the options & pricing :) Enjoy Team Maintcomm

10.01.2022 " High Security Bollards " Hi and good evening everybody. Many of us, work in, have seen or may know of properties, workplaces, gas transmission pipeline pump stations*, defence bases and power generation stations / sub stations, that will have security bollards, of some form or description. ... Of those bollard types, they will be either: -- Fixed Surface Mount -- Fixed Inground - non infilled -- Fixed Inground - infilled -- Removable Inground or Surface Mount -- Drop Down - mostly used for car parking bays -- Flexible Steel and Flexible Plastic - mostly used in car parks or..... as we call the one in the video: Destroyer A few years ago, we were very lucky, to have assisted an installer, with an installation, one one of these - and it was an educational experience. Question from a follower of Maintcomm: Q: " Now that Ive seen the video, why and where are these bollards used for?" A: Okay, a short answer is - they are used as a very high security access protection device, to literally stop vehicles, from being used as breaching tools (for example), to gain access to a facility. Follow up question: " Does Maintcomm sell these actual bollards, or do you guys sell & fit other types of bollards? " A: Yes we do sell / supply / fit all of the bollards listed above, but no, for the Destroyer ( as we call them ) High Security Bollards. However, we having said about the High Security Bollards, we can assist with any enquiries, that you have, and have the right people, you can talk with. Q: " How much would a High Security Bollard, cost fully installed? " A: Price upon application for these ones, but the costs for the ones we do, as listed above - and Yes; we do Stainless Steel Bollards too, we say Inbox us, or get us at the office on 0422 397 129, 8am till 4pm, Monday to Thursday. Fridays are by appointment only. We work with you, to make sure that you get the right bollard, for the right job. But for now everybody, please enjoy the video, courtesy of the team from the British Motoring Show 5th Gear. What well do Monday, is do a video slide show, of our bollards in action, and talk with you all about, some well known brands, weve saved a heap of money for, with our bollards. Till then - have a great weekend........... and tell us what you think of the Destroyer Bollard Cheers, Team Maintcomm

04.01.2022 Family, in business, reputation and reliability are 2 key things that can either (1) make your business or (2) - Kill it in a heartbeat! Now, if your wondering why we opened todays post with such a statement, well ... here is a great news story about how much a clients trust in your business & its excellent reputation is so valuable to you. Back in August this year, our MD was with a client on site talking about various signage & speed hump issues and recieving some exce...llent feedback about how great everything is working. Now - later in the piece, the State Operations Manager just in passing mentioned about an issue they were having with stairwells - an HSE problem. There were some issues around a couple of things - but the main issue revolved around the frustration of reliability with service providers. After a solid conversation with the client, our MD said " Guys - what you want is (X + Y) and Ill get this sorted out ". Enter SM Fabrications - you can see them here on FB S M Fabrications - a local Adelaide family engineering and fabrication business, with a solid reputation second to none, and known by Maintcomm as the go to guys for the out of the square engineering & fabrication solutions. Our MD brought SM Fabrication to our clients table - and hey presto - magical things happen. Our client was so impressed by the by the thorough understanding of their brief, speed, exceptionally high quality of fabrication & installation workmanship - and the communication & professionalism, that when our MD caught up during this week with our client - lets just say that Maintcomms reputation became stronger than granite. Result? SM Fabrications flag wil be flown very high and a big thank you from Team Maintcomm for an excellent job well done! Building a solid reliable & trustworthy reputation is built upon solid foundations, and with trusted like minded businesses, you over time become a trusted name and customers willl seek you out, because of your solid reputation. 01.01.2022 Hi everybody, Summer in Australia is finally arrived, and todays temperature in Adelaide, was somewhere around 39 degress, or over 104 F., in the other version. We saw this animated vid come in late this afternoon, about the dangers of heat related illness and injury. Team Maintcomm always says:... -- Slip on a long shirt -- Slop the good ol 50+ Factor sunscreen -- Slap on the hat (* we use Akubras and we absolutely swear by them!- see them here: https://akubra.com.au ) And not forgetting this one - Hydration! If youre working outside, then you know the rules about knock off time, due to the heat. But even if you are just out for a wander, on a nice summers day - just remember to take care, because the heat can get to you. Till tomorrow - we will finally have the Bollards Range video, up and live for you - tomorrow. Lots of site visits, lots of quotes - and we need time to catch up with you :) Cheers Team Maintcomm PS: Dont forget - if you have any product questions / need a quote or a site visit - just inbox us (y)
