14.01.2022 Some of my Runners, front and centre is my Campbell x Runner duck, who this season decided to colour up as a drake after several years of being a good egg laying duck! 10.01.2022 Several lambs born this week, first was Katie with a white ewe lamb, then Licorice had a black ram lamb. Unhappily mothering didnt come naturally to her and she lost him within the first 24 hours :( Meanwhile her twin sister Cocoa had a moorit pied ram lamb and she has maternal instinct in spades. Quinn had a black ewe lamb and she is also very protective. Lastly No name ewe, ear tag 111, had twins, no idea on sex of those yet.... they better be ewes to even up the count a bit!!

01.01.2022 What is it with white suri crias?? Today I put Baboushka in the back seat and headed off the vet with her because of her eye injury. Unhappily it had developed a melting ulcer and she had to have the eye removed. Looks a bit of mess now, but she'll soon be back with the herd, for now she and mum are confined to the undercover area.

01.01.2022 Today Snickers went to his new home, it was his 5th and hopefully last trip in the back seat of the car!! He was pretty good, got settled into a cush quickly, but I had to stop for 2 lots of roadworks and each time he got up to 'see'!!
