09.01.2022 Hello everyone, it has been some time since I posted on here...this is where we are up to: Prior to our event we will be having a tour of the old school starting promptly at 5:30pm. We will meet Kate outside the Library (the gate will be open for us). After the half to 3/4 hour tour we will make our way to the venue at the HR for a 6:30pm start. All meals will be ordered and paid for individually. I look forward to a great night...my trusty camera will be getting a work-out a...s usual... My thoughts also turn to those who can't be with us on the night, particularly due to ill health, and to those who sadly, have passed away, teacher and student alike, since our last get together. 06.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just 8 more sleeps until our reunion on Friday 20 September 2019. Again, please remember the 5:30pm tour of the school from the library. We will then meet at the Hunter River Hotel for a 6:30pm start. We will be in the room that I think can be entered from the Day Street entrance.... By the way, another of our teachers Di Garis, advised me today that she will be attending as wellso that is great! The Hotel has been painted on the outside with a garish (apologies Di) Green colour and for those who don’t know, it is on the corner of Melbourne and Day Street. Day Street runs parallel to Lawes Street and runs along the side of the train line. Geoff McMahon also advised me that although he will be working until about 7:30pm, he looks forward to catching up with us a little later. 04.01.2022 Hello once again everyone, Brendon and I were wondering what would make our special dinner on Friday 20 September at the old hall at our high school memorable to those who attendwe have come up with an idea of a visual presentation of all ex-students and teachers who have passed away and a short audio video presentation of no more than twenty seconds duration of all our surviving ex-students and teachers (1) who are unable to attend and, (2) who are able to attend to say hel...lo to those who made it to the event and to give everyone an idea of what we are all doing. This is open to all ex-students and all teachers alike. So please, get your old photos out, digitise them and send them along with your 20 second video to me so that they can be made into a video presentation. If you also have photos of students and teachers who have passed away could you also send these to me as well. I will need all videos and photos as soon as possible. Kindest regards, Tony P.S.
