23.01.2022 We are extremely proud of our Year 5 Music class and our other Instrumental Music students (yrs 6-8) who performed their very first Music Concert yesterday. Even though we couldn't have our community there, students still had an audience and were grateful for the opportunity to perform. Many students had never played an instrument until the commencement of our Music Program for Year 5's this year. We thank the Federal Government for their contribution to our Music Program through a grant from Mr Rowan Ramsey's office earlier this year. We also thank our Music Staff Mr Wright and Mrs Schwartz for their expertise and time. There will be a YouTube link of the concert available soon for you to share with your family and friends.

19.01.2022 MLS SRC would like to thank all the students for getting behind their 'Funky Socks' fundraiser today. We will be donating $500 to the Hutt Street Centre. SRC also announced at Chapel today they will be donating $500 to Lutheran Community Care. Great effort SRC.

Safe Water September is a challenge to drink nothing but water for the entire month of September to raise funds for safe water projects in rural Zimbabwe and Vanuatu. Our senior SRC students and some staff members are taking up the challenge. Yes, they can still eat food, but no coffee, tea, soft drink or milkshakes! 15.01.2022 Yes - the year 4/5's all survived their first night! After a full cooked breakfast and some cleaning up duties they are back out challenging themselves and having a ball. We thank our parent volunteers for all their work on camp supporting our students.

13.01.2022 We are very proud of our Yr 6/7 Netball team on being Runners Up in the State Schools Neball competition held at Priceline Stadium today. In an absolute thrilling Grand Final our girls went down by 4 goals after overtime against Aldgate. What an amazing experience - you all competed with such great team spirit and sportsmanship. CONGRATULATIONS

11.01.2022 Year 8 student Accacia donated her hair and raised awareness for Beyond Blue. Accacia had her hair cut at school last week after raising over $4,000 for a cause close to her heart. Maitland Lutheran contributed $306 from donations by families. Well done Accacia.
