24.01.2022 Year 12 jerseys arrived today to great delight. Not that Year 12 needed their jerseys to look resplendent, but today they had that extra touch of classiness about them.



24.01.2022 Year 8 Adventure Days! Last week during Mission Week Year 8 ventured off for two days of adventure, team building and getting to know each other better. It was a fantastic couple of days.

20.01.2022 198! That's how many Operation Christmas Child boxes have been brought in by our incredible students and their families!! We love teaching our kids about the importance of generosity. These boxes aren't just going across the world filled with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts, but each box will make a difference in a child's life and show them the love of Jesus. Now that is something to celebrate!

14.01.2022 Last Monday was a delightful opportunity to have students, parents and staff together celebrating at the Year 12 Formal. 13 years of schooling is a wonderful achievement for the class of 2020, with this year being one like no other. Rich blessings and best wishes Year 12 as you enjoy the adventure of life beyond school. May God do great things in you, through you and for you in the years ahead.

The Teaching, Learning Support, Administration and Property teams work hard each day to ensure every child grows not just academically but also in their faith, character and abilities. GO TEAM MCS!

08.01.2022 It was sad to farewell Miss Barkley this week who is heading back home to Canada! Having added a richness to our community including her great assistance with our School musicals she will be missed for not just what Miss B did, but who she is. We pray for safe travels and know that Year 3 will want to keep the tradition of celebrating Canada Day.

07.01.2022 There were lots of smiles as we celebrated our Year 6 lunch yesterday, recognising the milestone of finishing Primary School. Congratulations to Year 6 and their teachers on finishing a big year. A special thank you also to the team The Billabongs for helping us celebrate in different, enjoyable and COVID safe way and for continuing the many years of partnership in making this event a great success.

06.01.2022 Students rose and shone early this morning to make their way down to Castle Hill to play state basketball. The boys placed 3rd in their pool and the girls first. The girls made it to the finals, having not lost a game all day. They came away with second, beaten 12-5 by Green Point Christian College. Congratulations on doing all for God's glory and displaying sportsmanship.

06.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK: It has been great celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our classrooms this week! How talented are Kindy?!

03.01.2022 BOWLING BONANZA! Our U/15 teams competed in the Super 8 Cricket Gala Day, at Wallsend, against other Schools last week! Well done to all who experienced Cricket for the first time. Congratulations to the Junior Boys Division 1 Team who emerged victorious, with an undefeated record of 4 wins from 4 games. They continue a strong record, with our Junior Boys teams winning the Super 8 Cricket tournament for 3 of the last 4 years.

02.01.2022 HOW TO SAVE A LIFE: Year 11 students studying PDHPE and VET Early Childhood undertook a Senior First Aid course recently. This included specialist resuscitation techniques for babies. It is great to think that our students have not only enhanced their resumes, but more importantly are equipped to help others in the community who may require first aid. Congratulations to all of the students on their successful completion of the qualification. It is valid for three years.
