24.01.2022 So we have 5 teams for womens and 5, hopefully 6 teams for Mixed. Women's - Blues, Royals, Summer Bees, Bayites and Carpoolers. Mixed - Team Yellow, Team White, Rainbow's Warriors, TBA (Chloe) and Meehan's team. If your team is not on the list please email [email protected] now.

13.01.2022 Please remember as part of our Covid-19 Safety Plan (and the NSW Department of Health guidelines) anyone who is experiencing flu like symptoms (cough, fever, chills, running nose etc) however minor they may appear is NOT to attend the hockey centre until their symptoms have completely disappeared. Even if you have been tested for Covid-19 and returned a negative result, and still have flu like symptoms you are NOT to attend the hockey centre. We understand if you do not want to make the trek out tonight but for those that do sessions will be cancelled 1 hour before the starting time if required. This is because the forecast is for a high probability of rain in Maitland between 4 and 7pm, which means it may be unsafe to play and also difficult for spectators to keep Covid Safe social distance. ... 03.01.2022 With very heavy hearts we remember former Junior Rams player, Johannes Basedow. 28-7-2005 ~ 28-9-2020 Prior to a devastating Cancer diagnosis i...n December 2018, Johey played two seasons with the Under 13s team for the Maitland Rams. This was in addition to playing in the Maitland Hockey Association Junior Competition with his younger sister Isabella. Johey was a committed club member who brought much joy and fun to Maitland Hockey. He is remembered as a kind, caring, generous and committed player with exemplary sportsmanship. From a young age Johey showed great community spirit and commitment to our Junior Hockey community. He displayed his love of the sport with his willingness to assist with coaching the Under 6s. Our thoughts and prayers are with Johey’s younger sister Issy, his mum Emma and his dad, fellow Rams player, Scott. Rest now Johey and be at peace, knowing your spirit will continue to make our world a better place. Johey’s Funeral Service is tomorrow, Friday 9th October, 10.30am.
