15.01.2022 We have unfortunately received complaints about sledging on Saturday mornings, and in our Sunday rep teams. Of particular concern is feedback of poor comments against our junior females players. We are shocked and disappointed this is still occurring in this day and age. Can I remind all clubs, parents and players of our Code of Conduct. Time for all clubs to make it explicitly clear to coaches and players what is right and what is wrong on and off the field. There is a fin...e line between sledging and banter. If it’s negative it doesn’t need to be said. Positive comments by players to either team is the only acceptable form of banter. Let’s hope this is the last time we have to handle this poor behaviour.

13.01.2022 Do you have a child interested in playing but are concerned you may not be able to provide their own personal equipment? We understand things can be hard for some at the moment. Clubs are here to help and we want to see young players being able to enjoy their cricket. If you are need of assistance, Clubs may be able to loan equipment for the season or have other alternative solutions so please don’t hesitate to contact your Club representatives.

04.01.2022 FREE Junior Coach Courses are coming to the Hunter Valley and it has never been easier to upskill and accredit your Junior Coaches. The infographic below shows ...the step by step process to register. After registering on the Cricket Australia Coaches page, candidates complete online modules and then complete the course by attending a two-hour face to face practical session delivered by qualified Cricket NSW deliverers.
