If so Maitland Junior Football Club is the club for you. MJFC Development teams play football with appropriately accredited coaches in high divisions in a friendly inclusive environment.... We would like to invite you to attend our trials for these teams on the following days. 18.01.2022 Congratulations to all of our teams that participated in the 2020 winter season. It was certainly a tough one. Maitland Junior Football committee thank you for representing our club so well as either players or team officials. A enormous thank you also to all of our club volunteers, sponsors and referees for their ongoing support. 09.01.2022 A big thank you to Murray from Thornton Physiotherapy for his recent visits to our club. Prior to opening his clinic in Thornton, Murray was the head physiotherapist for the Central Coast Mariners and is one of only two Titled Sports Physiotherapists (recognised experts by our governing body) outside of Newcastle. Murray is passionate about injury prevention and regularly visits local football clubs, at no cost, to run players and coaches through professional level injury p...revention methods. A successful warm up can reduce all injuries in a team by 50%, serious knee injury (ACL injury) by 75%, ankle injury by 60% and soft tissue strains by 60%. Murray’s warm up sessions focused on strength in lower limbs (meaning they can run faster, jump higher) through proper squatting, lunging and lateral pelvic control, and also landing and pivoting techniques to reduce knee injuries. Our players and teams will be taking these skills into their training and game warm up sessions and MJFC is grateful for the opportunity!

Read the Guidelines and Fact Sheets to learn about the program.... Visit service.nsw.gov.au and create or login to your MyServiceNSW Account. Complete an Active Kids application through your MyServiceNSW Account. You will receive a voucher with a unique ID number for each child you register (available to download, print and email). Redeem your voucher, log onto myfootballclub, register and enter the voucher ID number. When your child commences their chosen sport or activity, your online account will show the status of the voucher change from ‘Active’ to ‘Redeemed’.
