17.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT It is with deep regret and overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of the founder of the Maitland Markets, Mrs Gwen Murphy aged 93 and the permanent closure of the Maitland Markets at the Maitland Showground. After more than 40 years and 4 generations of working together cooperatively, in the common pursuit of the success of the show ground, the Association has decided it is in their best interest not to renew our licence. 11.01.2022 MARKET UPDATE Just a quick update on the markets. Non food market restrictions have lifted, however showground restrictions have not. Please see the link below. We are currently in discussions with the show society trying to ascertain when the limit will be lifted. Please call Catherine on 49625522 for further details.
