25.01.2022 A well attended Majorca memorial service today, ANZAC Day 2015. Well done to the organisers, the MC and those who spoke, the band (special thanks to the 93yr gent who played the Last Post) and those who laid wreaths. The Carisbrook Primary School Vice Captains and Noela Evans spoke commendably about this important day in our history. This day, and every day, We Shall Remember Them.

25.01.2022 Remember, the Majorca Community Garage Sale is on THIS SATURDAY October 31st! Sites still available, contact details as per flyer. Bargains!! Sausage Sizzle!! 8 minutes from Maryborough!!

23.01.2022 The official opening of the Majorca Town Hall extension yesterday brought visitors from near and far! With around 60 people joining in the celebration, it was a great opportunity for the community to show its appreciation to the project partners for funding and in-kind contributions. Speeches and reflections were given by CGS Mayor: Barry Rinaldi, MP Western Vic: David O'Brien, Nationals Candidate: Scott Turner and Majorca Hall Committee President: David Willis. Congratulations to all involved!

19.01.2022 For those who missed it, The Maryborough Advertiser had a lovely article in last Thursday's paper (1st October 2015) about the centenary of Majorca Red Cross. There will be a special celebration held at Majorca Town Hall from 2pm tomorrow, Tuesday 6th October. Majorca Town Hall is proud of its connection with the Red Cross and congratulates its past and present members on this tremendous milestone!

19.01.2022 Fabulous photos of the Majorca ANZAC Day service by Majorca resident Brian Northern, Northern Photography.

18.01.2022 This ANZAC day, honour our fallen at the Majorca Service. Held at the Majorca War Memorial, commencing at 9:45am, Saturday 25th April. Guest Speaker: Noela Evans. All welcome. They shall grow not old. Lest we forget.

18.01.2022 Few heritage buildings are still standing in Majorca's main roadway, Talbot Road. However Brian Northern, of Northern Photography in Majorca, has beautifully captured some of the history that does remain.

16.01.2022 Today marks the 30th anniversary of the wild fires which caused destruction in Majorca and surrounding areas. A terrible period for our historic Town Hall and many heritage buildings. Credit to Majorca Remembered page.

07.01.2022 Majorca lost one of it's iconic buildings to fire today: the old Majorca Store. The historic streetscape changes forever.
