13.01.2022 We are happy to share the below email and upcoming programs of the Brain Gain Centre, and request you, if you are interested, to register with the BGC, www.mofa....gov.np/bgc and express your interest. Email from the BGC Office: Dear All, I hope you are doing well . After the slowdown due to the pandemic, even as we continue to work cautiously, I am writing to share about a few programs at the BGC. I would like to request your support and promotion of the programs. WEBINAR SERIES 2 We are back with Series 2 of the webinar discussion. As we seek to reach out to maximum potential panelists in the process of preparation for the series to start next month, I would like to request you to fill out this form if you’re interested in contributing as a panelist, https://forms.gle/kGS134CSZYE8inLZA. Please, also, share this message so that other experts/scholars will also sign up to talk. When we identify a panel facilitator from among the interested scholars, we want to be able to select all experts on the topic from the same source. We had to reach out to some of the panelists because of a smaller pool on each topic last time. The more we can depend on the list we have the better our process/system. PROJECTS Project is a program for promoting initiatives of diaspora scholars and their collaborations with local counterparts at home. Please submit a brief description of any current or recently completed project through this quick survey so that we can promote it on our platforms. We also invite proposals for various initiatives/projects or collaborations from diaspora experts. We would like to recommend the suitable ones to the concerned agencies in Nepal. https://forms.gle/mUiRnRRSSCVFpuyZ9 INTERVIEWS The other is an interview series that will promote diaspora contributions and collaborations through brief video conversations. Please email your biodata at [email protected] and/or [email protected] if you’re interested. The interviews will be shared on our social media platforms. All of the above initiatives will also help us connect diaspora experts with related government/non-government organizations/units in Nepal. If you have any questions about any of the three programs above, please let us know. With Best Regards Santosh Gautam Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brain Gain Center
