20.01.2022 Seeking highly experienced Diesel Fitter to supervise our team of Technicians: - The role includes hands-on supervision of apprentices and Tradesmen in Workshop, Mine site and Field Service roles. - Duties include: Estimating/quoting repairs, Compiling Customer Reports, Scheduling/planning jobs, Using ET, SIS and other diagnostic/parts systems, Reporting to Supervisor -Must be able to pass a Mine-site medical which will include random Drug & alcohol testing.... Experience with CAT Mining equipment would be highly regarded however we service/repair all makes & models including Highway trucks and CASE Construction equipment. The ability to work well under pressure, unsupervised with a high level of attention-to-detail is necessary.

09.01.2022 What a week it's been here at MAK Diesel Townsville. Monday started with delivery of a new Case TV380 Track Loader to a proud owner near Ravenswood. The Workshop and Field Service Staff were flat all week tuning engines, clutch change outs, hydraulic cylinder overhauls, articulation line boring & rebuild on an R1700 underground loader.... There was still time for general servicing and not to mention the field break downs and late night call outs. We wrapped up Friday by delivering a new Case TR270 Track Loader to another proud Townsville local. Don't forget our dedicated Parts Department is open until 12pm Saturday's for all your emergency needs. Top Effort Team

06.01.2022 Check This Out!!! A valued customer of ours was fed up with his augers being difficult to transport. MAK had no problems designing and fabricating this rack that can be moved with a forklift and has the correct pin size for the excavator to carry it around the job site. Not to mention chains for easy transport securing.... Need a rack, Come see MAK!!!
