02.01.2022 Georgia Wilson is an Australian mid field hockey player for the Australian Hockeyroos. She has also played for the recent Perth Thundersticks as part of the inaugural Hockey One league. Unfortunately, Georgia missed the entire 2018 season with an ACL injury spending 12 months on the sidelines and watching the Hockeyroos play at the Commonwealth Games and World Cup. However, her resilience and perseverance did not waiver; with passion, support from friends & family and a proce...ss of personal development and self-discovery Georgia has been on a mission not only to inspire others launching Activ8 Hockey in July but also working hard on her health, game and mind-set to be selected for the 2020 Olympic squad. At just 23 years of age, Georgia sees the importance of treating our body and mind along the way with the kindness and respect. The connection between diet and body image is particularly close to home for Georgia and she strives to educate and inspire other young girls through presentations and her social platform @thenourishedathlete We look forward to welcoming Georgia to the panel and hearing about her amazing journey Tickets via link - https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/make-a-difference-the-chang Georgia Wilson Hockeyroos Perth Thundersticks
