But there are also classic tales such as the "Frog Princess" (or the Princess and the frog) and "Wind in the Willows" with Frog and Toad. 15.01.2022 What something unique? Just ask! This was made for a customer who was after a bright rainbow weighted blanket. I wasn't able to find the fabric so I pieced together bright colours to form this. Hope she likes it.
13.01.2022 I love Christmas and so do my kids. However it can be an overwhelming time for Adults and Children with Autistic tendency and or sensory sensitivities. There are so many special events to attend, routines are messed up. Shopping centers are extra busy, with more noise, beautiful but overwhelming visual displays and smells, and there are new foods on offer. Tips Don't feel you need to attend every event. Choose the ones that are important or that you really will enjoy. ... Also have a safe space for you or your child to retreat to especially if family are visiting. Don't force your child to be social if they don't want to. Encourage them to be polite but then give them there space. Visual aids may be helpful for different events. As much as you can, find out what is going to happen so you can prepare you child or yourself. Have a sensory tool box on hand with familiar items. It may include a weighted toy or blanket, sound cancelling headphones, visuals, fiddle toys etc.. Most importantly your sensory tool box is individual and should contain only items that work for yourself or your child.
