17.01.2022 Join me at Clarence Yoga Collective for a 75 minute Centring Meditation & Journaling Workshop. Sunday 29th Nov 9:00AM OR Tuesday 1st Dec 7:00PM. $30pp, bring a friend or partner for $25. "When our thoughts are scattered in several directions at once and we struggle to be conscious of what we are doing or why, it is time to centre ourselves. When we centre ourselves, we ...begin by acknowledging that we have become spread too thin and we are no longer unified inside. Our thoughts might be out of sync with our feelings, and our actions may be out of sync with both. The main signs that we need to centre ourselves are scattered thoughts and a feeling of disconnection or numbness, as if we are no longer able to take anything in or give anything out. In addition, we may feel unfocused and not present in our bodies. Centring ourselves is a way of coming to terms with all the different energies within us and drawing them back into ourselves. We naturally know how to centre ourselves when we take a deep breath, for example, before making a big announcement or doing something big. Another way to centre ourselves is to sit down and engage in breath meditation. Our breath flows into our centre and out from our centre, and this process can serve as a template for all of our interactions in the world. In conversations, we can take what our friends and children and loved ones are saying into the centre of our beings and respond from the centre. From a place of centredness, we can begin fresh, directing ourselves outward in a more intentional way" - DailyOm.

16.01.2022 Meditation is the most powerful stress-relieving tool there is. If you often feel stressed, worried, tired, overwhelmed, or have a habit of overthinking, regular meditation will help.

08.01.2022 Reminder: Even while this spinning earth feels like it's spinning faster and more wildly than ever, you CAN be more present, calm and clear. If you are ready to learn to meditate, sign up for a one-on-one or small group 90 minute meditation tutorial with me. You'll learn the technique once and have it in your tool belt for life. You'll also learn why the technique works the very first time you do it and every time after that. You'll leave the tutorial understanding meditation, and why busy humans need it not only now, but always. Aaaand... if you book a session before the end of April, you'll not only be opening up a free spot for someone who has lost their job due to COVID-19, you'll also only pay $40 (usually $50). Coz April is my favourite month, y'all! Keep shining, Lauren xo
