19.01.2022 Tonight a hard working, dedicated screamer and budding singer Dave Bigby gifted me, a hardworking but battle-weary vocal arts teacher, a lovely token of a silver "Om" symbol on a leather wrap. At Make Loud Noise, my vocal arts students all do an "Om" vocal exercise while doing a manual therapy release manoeuvre. It's one of the pivotal foundations of our Praxis work. This ancient symbol can mean many different things, but we use it as a primordial sound that helps us to conne...ct our outside and our inside so we can conduit the vocal arts with our whole selves.
