19.01.2022 What is the most random thing your child has done? This is Loren Wedrien’s daughter Zaali who decided to shock me as she arrived this morning. Apparently she used glue, a swimming cap & then put the wig on..which stayed all throughout her game of netball this morning.. oh kids!!

16.01.2022 While we’re getting creative over the next two days we thought we’d give you something creative to do too! The kids will absolutely adore this DIY market stall idea. All you need is a table or large box, some coloured decorations and what you’d like to sell.... The choices are endless! Use your own colours and the yummy choices you can bake with the kids, everyone will be saying, what a great idea! ... Kids can change this idea up a bit and go for the old fashioned lemonade stand as well if they’re keen, tell friends and family or even put it out to the local community, bake some yummy treats and your little master chef might even be able to earn some pocket money in the process....

16.01.2022 Day one. That’s when I failed. Day ONE!! Uno. 1. At least it could have been day 3 or 4! ... I was supposed to be giving you activities you can do with the kids everyday of the holidays and day one I rushed into my day like a crazy person going into our first centre and forgot to leave you with the goods. 14.01.2022 Ever heard the laughter of children as water balloons hit the ground around them? Ever wanted to fill these with paint instead of water? Well here’s a twist on this summer favourite, canvas paintball! What a fun way to spend some time, set up a canvas or even large pieces of paper taped to the backyard fence and fix your water balloons full of different colour paint to them, while carefully watching as the kids get to throw darts at them to pop these and they’ll end up with a creative masterpiece in the end.... 13.01.2022 Happy Friday!! Welcome to Rockstar holidays edition. Everyday we’re giving you ideas on what you can do with the kids these holidays. So here’s day 5.. FriYay! And a long weekend too! While we’re having our own music day in the hall in Menai, why don’t you have one of your own music days at home? ... Make some instruments with objects around the house, (rice makes a great percussion instrument as you know!), put some music on loud and have a dance party, get out all the dress ups, do a performance or two (yes we know you have a voice too!), sing into your brushes (ahem I mean microphones) and get creative with music! 13.01.2022 People often comment that there’s no way they could do what I do.. they couldn’t be paid enough. But look at these cuties, they are the reason why I do what I do. Bringing fun and smiles to each birthday, making it a memory to last for years to come. Each weekend I have a party I get up with a spring in my step, getting ready to start my day because it’s such a joy to be able to deposit into the lives of kids. And plus it’s so nice to hear the mum day she got to sit back with a wine today and relax. Makes my heart full. Happy 6th birthday boys! Your future is bright. 07.01.2022 Just saw this on a business page.. what would you do? Anyone been in a situation like this? Need a good laugh? I’m mortified... I had just posted something on my business page, stuck my phone in my pocket and then went about bedtime routine with my daughter. So we sing our bedtime songs and what not, I say good night to my other kids, then pull my phone out of my pocket and realize I went live ON MY BUSINESS PAGE!! ... At the very least, it was a good night with no yelling or drama involved-so it could be worse, but I am still mortified. I had an audience of 17 tuned in to me singing bedtime songs and laughing for 4 minutes!

03.01.2022 Less than a month till holidays... say what?! If you’re worried about the holidays.. kids climbing the furniture, hitting each other or the repetitive groan of I’m bored (especially with all the up and downs with the situation at the moment!) send them to our 2 day workshop! You can sit back and relax, work or get that to-do list done knowing that they will have 2 days of getting their creative juices flowing. Countless testimonies of children who have loved singing on th...e microphones, getting dressed up in crazy costumes, and parents getting a kick out of the funny performances. This time children are also writing their own scripts and doing their own performances too! And best thing is because it’s such a large space the children can be Covid safe as well. Well PA Loren Wedrien sat in a box.. when I said to think outside the box I’m not sure this is what I meant... haha On other news does anyone know how to make that beam go across which looks like it doesn’t fit Gardening teaches you a lot. DIY took on a whole new meaning today

02.01.2022 Kids gone race car crazy! Full of energy to burn? Well why not make your own race car derby! Invite some friends over and make your cars together and enjoy the race time afterwards! All you need is some large cardboard boxes, tape, scissors, paper or plastic plates, paint or textas, glue and some rope, twine or even some suspenders work really well for this.... Let the kids get creative with their decorating.... it’ll definitely keep them occupied with the finish line in mind....
