Fashion brands exploit garment workers by overworking them, paying low wages, under poor and unsafe conditions, for their skilled labour. Women make up just 12.5% of CEOs of clothing companies in the Fortune 1000. In 4 days, top fashion CEOs earn what a garment worker earns in her entire lifetime. There is also a serious lack of diversity in fast fashion, with most women used in advertising be...ing very thin, white and tall.
