20.01.2022 Yesterday we realised that one of our sweater samples is missing! *booo!* Em's beautiful pink Hina Sweater has gone walkabout, and we are now assuming it has been stolen We think this happened between Thursday last week and this Tuesday, and if you know or saw anything it would be greatly appreciated. ... This took many hours to knit (as you knitters would know), and makes us hesitant to add new samples to the store. So yeah, if you know anything snitching is very much encouraged!

20.01.2022 We've done so much rearranging in the shop this last week to make space and open up our layout. You thought our shop was bright, open and cozy before, well just wait till you see it now! Next job, upload a bajillion things to the website, including our beautiful Australian made DK from @greatsouthernyarn, and our big fresh restock from @great_ocean_road_mill (including this stunning linen blend!)

18.01.2022 Hey all, we've had a few more emails from suppliers recently, and unfortunately it looks like we might need to add some more yarns (like Bellissimo) to those getting a price increase.. BUT, the good news is that we're going to delay the increase by another week while we sort everything out and recalculate! Prices will go up at the start of next week..

24.12.2021 Price increase heads up Hey y'all Just popping in to give you a bit of a warning that we will need to put some of our yarn prices up in Feb. I really hate to do this and have tried to put it off as long as I can to stay competitive, but over the last two years we have absorbed a lot of price increases from both suppliers and shipping companies (shipping prices globally have increase loads ).... I'll try to keep the increases small (50c to $1), but some might be a bit more than that (Silky Kid unfortunately). And here's a heads up of what's changing so far: Silky Kid Wren and Ollie Cottonwood Hamelton 1 & 2 Northern Lights Woolly Heirloom Merino Fleck Heirloom Merino Magic Chunky Bellissimo Papyrus But you've got a bit of time to get in before they go up in Feb, and if you've been dreaming of that fun new project in one of these yarns, then now might be the time!

18.12.2021 Just a heads up that we will be closed for the public holiday this Wednesday Georgia and Leisl are working away on some lovely pink wips in the shop today! G is crocheting a summery #captivacrop in Allino in Rose, and Leisl is speeding her way through a #dropsofjoyshawl she started on Thursday in Sweet Pea! The colour is gorgeous Unanswered Question which we're sold out of at the moment, but dont worry, we'll be getting more in again next month!

02.12.2021 Merry late Christmas everyone! I was all set to do my xmas wrap up post on Friday, but then everything went off script Burst plumbing, server fails, and my partner needing to isolate while waiting for covid test results (still waiting, so xmas will have to happen for us later). But it's a good lesson for me that life throws you surprises and sometimes you just gotta go with the flow ... So thank you everyone for all of your amazing support this year, I so appreciate it! Who knows what waves the next year will send us, but that's life isn't Stay safe, take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and we can't wait to see your smiling faces in the new year

03.11.2021 Crochet Crush and Laine 13 have finally arrived!! After so many delays they have finally landed, just in time before we close - hooray! Me and Georgia cracked open the box as soon as it arrived, and just spent the next 5 minutes oo-ing and ah-ing over every single page of Crochet Crush ... 31.10.2021 Covid update! (But also not) Just an update based on the latest gvmt release. Masks are still mandatory when shopping in retail, and we have decided to keep checking your vaccination certificates (must be fully vaxxed) So that means OUR RULES ARE THE SAME as the last few weeks ... If you have a medical exemption bring it along with you, and if you aren't fully vaxxed for whatever reasons you can still place orders for click and collect online or over the phone. This is our decision for our store, as there are still many exposures in vic, and the latest omichron exposure was in the northern burbs. We're so close to Christmas now and just want to ensure that we can see our loved ones!

17.10.2021 Dis cutie Punch Needle is so good for some creative colour play, and I've found it so freeing! It's also ridiculously speedy compared to knitting For this piece I used a combo of leftover yarns, but mainly Hamelton 1 and 2. I also used a Regular #10 Oxford needle, 7ct Monks Cloth and a 20cm hoop.... No pattern, I just doodled on some paper and then drew it onto the fabric with a texta If you're wanting to give punching a try these holidays we still have a couple of our new kits left in store and online too

03.10.2021 Hey hey! We finally worked out our xmas closure plans the other day, and it might be helpful if I actually let you know what they are (I didn't forget, did I? No... ) Our last day of trading will be December 24, 10-4 as usual. THEN WE WILL CLOSE UP FOR 2 WEEKS, reopening Tuesday January 11th. That means that if you are planning on have a fun crafty time during the holidays, come get any supplies before we close! ... (We may still post out parcels once a week, but no click + collect/in store shopping )

25.09.2021 Our new @circustonichandmade is finally online!! Lovely Hannah has dyed up this gorgeous custom colour palette on a gorgeous custom base, just for us! It is a beautiful BFL/nylon base that has a tight twist, making it an absolute dream for well wearing projects like garments and socks. Despite its sturdiness it is very soft and has a good drape for shawls, too. The colours work beautifully together and are a mix of tonal semi solids, speckles and a few brighter variegated sha...des too Thank you for your patience as well, it takes a lot of time and effort to get new products online, especially now that we're out of lockdown and have a shop to run (and almost nowhere to photograph anymore!). We try to get the colours as accurate as we can (whilst being amateur photographers), and one of them this time I had to use an entirely different camera to capture correctly So worth it though!
