25.01.2022 Quiet night tonight, Cleaned up the laser cutter area. Thanks David, James and Donna for your help.

25.01.2022 Great turn out tonight, lots of activities undertaken. Mike and David are working on installing the dro on the mill. 3D Printing a job for Pioneer SHS, fine tuned laser cutter. James ran a personal engraving job. Richard worked on an electronics project, lots of soldering going on. Kim continued learned more about Arduino coding. Donna organised a bunch of financial matters and planned a bunch of things for the group.

20.01.2022 Big day today, The laser needed aligning again. We found a great system based on https://youtu.be/wY5D27TQwZI And got it almost perfect. Josh helped exporting dxf files from inventor for a school project. Darryl made a set of leads to go with the bench top supply and worked on some computer tasks, including the Raspberry Pi. David and Allan looked at the steps to install the DRO on the mill.... David brought a set of photos of the caribou aircraft his friend is making using the cnc machined windows we made a while ago. It was great to see everyone today. Next Saturday (10th of Oct) we will hold our AGM followed by an extra public meet up. We also open next Tuesday evening from 4:30pm.

14.01.2022 Great to see Mike and Kim learning Arduino. Had visitors too. AGM next Saturday starting 11am sharp.

12.01.2022 The laser is back online, calibrated better than ever. It's going scary good in all 4 corners now. Thank you to David, Jack, Alan for the assistance in getting it right. Much has been learnt.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone, please if you have not already done so, get involved in this fund raiser to make full face shields for our medical workers in the Mackay region. This is run by our president and funds are being banked into the Makerspaces account.
