The Race is about the contest between two people who aren’t together anymore. When things don’t end well, sometimes we fall into the trap of wanting to be seen moving on before the other. Not everyone has this experience but we think it happens more than people let on, so we wrote about it. This song comes from a personal story but also has an important message: Remember the good times! They were a part of your life, now DO YOU (because it’s always best to be young and fun x)
