25.01.2022 APPLYING FOUNDATION Using small amounts at a time and work from the centre of your face outwards. This helps reduce wasting product, but also you cover the main areas of your face first and can nicely blend your foundation out to look natural.

Text Me Later, crease. Just Perfect & RSVP Yes, outer corners of my mobile lid. Talk of the Town - inner corner. Morphe X James Charles Palette - Flashback, brow bone. Daddy, middle of the lid and slightly up on brow bone/ also under eye. Social Blade, mid/inner corner of lid and slightly up on brow bone/ also under eye. Urban Decay Moondust Palette - Light Year, on mid lid. Mecca Max Wink Ink Mascara. Gorgeous Cosmetics iINK Liquid Eye Pencil - Carbon Black - Used on my water line. LIP PRODUCTS I used a combination of the above eyeshadows, minus the light brow bone colours and inner corner colour, to create this lip look. On a cream concealer base.

21.01.2022 SHADING - CONTOURING Shading products will help bring more definition to your face. This will give depth and shape to your face. You want to use a pigment with a tonal value 2-4 shades darker than your foundation colour.

17.01.2022 SPONGES Using a sponge can be a great way of applying your foundation, but keep in mind they will absorb your product. If your not careful and your using liquid foundation, you will end up going through it a lot quicker. If you add water to your sponge, not enough that when you squeeze it water pours out but enough to make it moist/damp, this will reduce how much foundation it absorbs.

14.01.2022 BRUSHES Fastest way of applying foundation and blends seamlessly. You can layer easier and they give you more control over your coverage. They can be expensive, but there are reasonably price good quality brushes out there. Poorly made brushes can leave streaks and stray hairs on the skin. Take care of them and clean them properly to avoid bristles breaking.

14.01.2022 I adore this look on @imanicle_ We didn't want to go to dark, so we used different browns. With the darkest brown we really worked on winging it out to get this smoked out winged look and it looks amazing! Keeping the base looking simple and natural, with a dark nude coloured lip.

13.01.2022 CHOOSING A FOUNDATION You need to become familiar with your face. You need to work out if you've got normal, oily, dry or combination skin. That alone will help you heaps when choosing a foundation. Knowing if your skin tone is more on the pink side, or yellow/golden side. Lighter foundations tend to be more on the pink tone and your darker foundations are more yellow/golden. If your skin tone is yellow/golden and your pale, it can be really hard to find a matching foundation. Best advise is if you find a foundation you like, try it and see what it looks like outside, at home, etc. See how it sits, feels and looks on your skin before you buy.

11.01.2022 CONCEALING Use your foundation first, this will show you what blemishes are still visible and need concealing. You want to use a concealer that works with your skin and is the correct colour. A general guide is orange/yellow shades neutralise blue/purple and green shades neutralise redness. Most concealers these days have a tint of these colours so they are easier to apply. For extreme coverage you can get heavy duty concealers, but not all brands stock them.

04.01.2022 MOBILE Being a mobile service means that can travel anywhere you need me to be. Whatever time you need me, I’ll be there. I offer this to all my clients that are after any type of makeup services, not just for weddings. This eliminates stress a lot of stress. No need to fight the traffic or struggle finding a carpark, you can sit and relax and I’ll arrive to your location.

03.01.2022 FACE SHAPES Knowing you face shape will give you an indication of where to highlight and shade when contouring. The type of face shape you can have can be oval, round, square, rectangle, triangle, upside down triangle, diamond, and heart. Remember that each person is different. This means that you can have a combination of more than one face shape.

02.01.2022 AIRBRUSHING If you have never had airbrushing done before it feels amazing. Using an air compressor you will feel a light breeze on your face as I apply product. It very lightweight, but has a great coverage. Airbrushing products have a longer durability then regular foundations as they have a silicone base. 01.01.2022 FINGERS Fingers are the easiest way to apply foundation. They're free and your hands warm up the foundation making it easy to blend. Just be sure to wash your hands before applying your foundation, this will reduce the spread of bacteria and breakouts. Oily complexions can get even oilier if you apply it with your fingers. Unfortunately it's messy and you can accidently get foundation everywhere.

01.01.2022 This look took way longer than expected. I'm really rusty when it comes to creative makeup, so be prepared to see more of these types of posts. They are so much fun and I love doing them, just need to keep working on my skills.
