To achieve a full coverage look without adding layers and layers of foundation, I focus on DABBING foundation onto my problem areas with a de...nse brush to build coverage rather than buffing. 20.01.2022 Today more than ever is a time to reach out to those around you and check in with them, but also YOURSELF. Ask those around you if they are okay and also ask yourself, AM I okay...? Be honest. ... Observe those feelings that come up, don’t judge them. We have been extremely shoved out of our ‘norms’ and ‘routines’ this past year, which has challenged our mental health, I’m definitely feeling it here in Victoria with the strict lockdown measures. Social media is the only way for most people to connect right now, but it’s important to acknowledge social media only shows so much. The faces behind the posts you see or those people who you don’t see post at all might not be all that great. So.. TALK, engage in conversation, organise a FaceTime with someone you haven’t spoken to in a while - whatever it is, it might make their day There has been so much heavy information coming out in the world and it’s important to have healthy conversations with those people around you and create space for compassion, love and better understanding. 19.01.2022 I just wanted to acknowledge the pain I feel right now for small businesses (including my own brand) along with brides, clients, people who are or know others in the commission housing buildings and absolutely EVERYONE effected right now. As Melbourne experiences a second lockdown for 6 weeks it’s proving to be an extremely testing time. I miss working, I miss connecting with new and old clients, I miss the busy routine and goals I had for myself and brand in the next few w...eeks that have been further put on hold. It’s like the world is going through a huge purge at the moment, a lot of darkness is surfacing, as we’ve all seen. But through all of this, as I said during the first wave, I am here for my makeup community and wider communities to continue to connect in new ways and ADAPT and EVOLVE through this with you. I don’t expect things to go back to ‘normal’ or for things to be exactly the same as they were, in fact I welcome the change, but right now it is challenging. I LOVE you guys and the true support you’ve shown me through this time. 14.01.2022 I seem to always forget how messy working with glitter is, but I can’t help myself using @maccosmeticsaustralia Red loose glitter. - Tuesday night glitter tip: Fold a tissue in half and place it right under the lash line to avoid any fall out when using loose glitter on the eyes. I apply the glitter on top of the black liner before it fully dries so that the glitter has something to stick to. This is because before I put the yellow eyeshadow on I really like how it look with just liner, so I had to get some piccys! 07.01.2022 So I’ve had this lipstick @maccosmeticsaustralia ‘4ever’ tucked away in my drawers for sooo long, never really anticipating to use it. When I finished my eyeliner on this look I was looking for a nude lipstick to pair with it and then this lipstick just called my name so I was like, fuck it, let’s try something different and I actually love how it turned out.
