10.01.2022 Broke the record for the fastest! Making their own wedding rings in the newly minted record time of 4h55min, Andrew and Rachel made a fitted 18ct rose gold ring... (with a curve to fit around her diamond engagement ring - not easy!) and a sterling silver ring with hammered texture for him. The precious metal we used today was made from fine silver and fine gold ingots that had been bought a while back. 08.01.2022 Made their own wedding rings... and did an amazing job! Completed yesterday, on what would have been their wedding day (postponed now until 2021) the rings were sculpted in wax and cast in 9ct yellow gold. Gala’s ring incorporates six very beautiful, very old, diamonds taken from a pair of inherited heirloom earrings. Thank you to @djs_guitars for the amazing diamond setting.
