24.01.2022 We hope you and your family are doing well during these arduous times. I think we will be all relieved when we are looking back on this period. I would like to start with thanking everyone for liking, sharing and commenting on our launch of Creative Mortgage Solutions, it was quite heart warming and we are starting to get some real traction, thank you! You will no doubt be seeing a lot of ads for banks, interest rates etc. the reason for this is new property purchases have sl...owed right down, so it has become a ‘refinance’ landscape. If you haven’t reviewed your home or investment loan in the last two years, chances are you’re paying too much. It used to frustrate me to no end when I was working for corporate, new customers would receive better rates on lending and deposit facilities when compared to long term or loyal customers. This is nothing personal by the way, banks are always looking for new customers and new business. Big announcement from our Treasurer in regards to easing of responsible lending obligations, and an interesting call from Chief Economist (Westpac) Bill Evans referring to interest rates; Josh Frydenburg - "As Australia continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever that there are no unnecessary barriers to the flow of credit to households and small businesses." Bill Ev...ans - Mr Evans forecast the Reserve Bank would deliver a four-pronged rate cut on October 6 to back up a bold federal budget in a bold Team Australia moment.
