19.01.2022 Telstra DNS is currently down. Impacting Melbourne and Sydney areas from what I have read. Received a few calls about the issue already.

12.01.2022 Heaven help me!! I assisted an existing Optus Adsl 2+ customer to start the process of migrating to the NBN. She is 82 years old and has hearing and seeing difficulties. We met at the optus store in Bondi Junction and sat with the sales staff and discussed what she needed. It was agreed that she would get the NBN 50 plan with the added mobile and domestic saver features. Total cost $80. Nbn50 was $70 and each saver was an extra $5. First account is emailed to her and the d...omestic saver has not been added and local calls were being charged. Bill was over $80. I go into another closer optus store (Maroubra) to discuss why this was missing and they after long time waiting on the phone and waiting for a online chat session to be activated I leave the store after being told that it will all be fixed and later I get a sms from Optus stating that she need only pay $75 for the current bill due to the optus stuff up AND the next will will be $80. I have the sms still. Well this month the next bill arrives. Again the bill is over $80. Again I go into store to discuss and they say the bill is correct and is the amount that should be paid. Enough is enough. My client is expecting a $80 bill MAX each month but each month it has been incorrect. We are now considering lodging a complaint with the Ombudsman. Optus fix this and fix it immediately. See more
