23.01.2022 Welcome to Day 6 of #28for28 - Meditate for Mental Health. Today's meditation theme is HEART. We have such a busy mind which is thinking incessantly around 60-70k thoughts a day and 90% of those thoughts are the same as they were the day before. Meditation gives us the ability to quieten all other senses, the chatter we have in our minds and really start to focus and drop into our #heart space so that we can start living and making decisions from our heart, where we have more... intuitive wisdom and voice that is speaking to us. Our thoughts can often take us on a different wild tangent and we actually don't have to believe every single thought that we think. When you're able to drop out of your mind and into your heart, you're able to live from a place of authenticity. As we move into the meditation, really contemplate on this by letting go of those thoughts and dropping out of your mind and really listening in to your heart because your heart has this voice that will guide you to your authentic self. Allow yourself 30 seconds prior to starting today's meditation to settle in, relax, let go of the past and release the future. Remember that you are important, that giving yourself this time is a gift and you are worth it. Enjoy. 23.01.2022 Our MMM Wisest Elder .... This morning I had the absolute privilege of meeting with the team leaders of Ocean / Umina Beach and holding a special MMM session with them. I also had the pleasure of meeting MMM's most beautiful and oldest member - ELAINE (86 years young). Elaine is one of those once in a lifetime special people that you meet.... that completely warms your heart. I saw her slowly coming over to the group on her frame, smiling away. At first I didn't realise she... was with the MMM session, but to my delight, was informed that Elaine never misses a session. She takes her walking frame onto the beach and our incredible leaders support her to get comfy on the sand. Elaine has been through it all.... survived Cancer, represented Australia at the highest level in Swimming and Ten Pin Bowling.... and this was her comment from this morning... "I like to make my Sat MMM session the official start of my week, that way it starts it off in the best possible way, and it makes me feel great for the rest of the week" ... I was happy to announce today, that we will be custom designing Elaine a very special MMM T shirt that she can wear every week with pride. This is what MMM is all about. #ConnectionandCommunity #ComeHome Jason

02.01.2022 We are very proud to announce that Making Meditation Mainstream (MMM) raised over $31,900 for Lifeline - representing 1139 crisis support calls. This far surpassed our initial target of $28000. To say that we are proud of this effort would be an understatement - to achieve this, it takes a team effort, and we are so very lucky to have some of the most inspirational leaders as part of our MMM family that helped guide and support this campaign so successfully. We would also lik...e to acknowledge the following companies who supported and shared the 28 for TWENTY EIGHT campaign with their staff and audience: Laing+Simmons, Roland Music Australia, Glamorazzi, Prana Chai, Dropbox, Rea Group, Total Image Group plus many more.
