25.01.2022 ADOPTED How beautiful is Yuki?! MEET YUKI... Yuki is an approximately 12 week old male kitten with a lot of love to go around. Originally he was quite nervous and tentative as he was a barn kitten but he has quickly become super affectionate and even meows at you if you don't pick him up or when you put him down. Yuki is due to be Desexed this Friday and is Vaccinated Microchipped Flea and Worm treated Yuki will available for adoption next week. Adoption Fee is $300 Microchip number 934000090225083

25.01.2022 Precious Pumba This lovely girl is the light of our day. Originally she was listed for free from a hoarding situation where she was then taken by a teen only for her not being able to keep her and send her our way. Pumba is on heat and therefore cannot yet be Desexed. Until then she will not be available for adoption.

22.01.2022 Thank you so much to Debbie who has taken this beautiful boy Diesel into foster care. Diesel is a beautiful boy, adores absolutely everyone! He is dog friendly and would love to have a friend in his new home. As he is wolfhound x border collie he is a very energetic boy, he likes to go on adventures and loves the water!... Diesel loves to follow you around like a shadow and has a very endearingly soft and innocent nature. He is bright, bubbly and gentle and is very happy when given space to run around with a friend and a warm couch to cuddle next to you once he tires. 20.01.2022 WE NEED HELP Hey all. This is not easy to ask but it has to be done. If you don't know us MWAR is run by Laura and myself we are both 25 and run this rescue out of our own pockets. We lost our jobs due to Covid 19 and are paying for vet bills out of our job seeker payments. Animal rescue it's totally our choice and we wouldn't change it for anything but we need help to pay these vet bills. Please visit our Go Fund me. Any help even a share is greatly appreciated

20.01.2022 FREJA Freja is a lovely ten month old Staffy x Ridgeback. She is extremely cuddly and affectionate and nothing makes her happier than to snuggle up to you in bed. She absolutely adores kids! Freja knows how to sit and come when called however she still requires basic training however is polite when meeting new dogs.... She is not cat friendly. Freja does have separation anxiety. She requires a person who will have most of the day with her to help build her confidence until she is no longer anxious. MWAR offers as much assistance as possible to ensure that you hit the ground running with all training needs. He is a soft hearted boy that would rather cuddle than play with toys. He is not suited to a home with cats or small children as he does like to jump. 07.01.2022 NOW HAS FOSTER - Thank you Stevie-Lee WE HAVE ANOTHER URGENT FOSTER This is beautiful 9 month old Freya. She is a Ridgeback x Mastiff and has just arrived at Somersby Vet Clinic severely neglected and in need of some serious love. ... Freya has been left in a laundry most of her life, has scratches and scars all over her and is very shy and scared. She has been noted as showing some signs of food guarding however upon assessment by the vet seems to be gentle but nervous. 06.01.2022 Meet Atticus. He is a 12 month old Husky x Kelpie dog. With a rough start to life, he didn't even know his own name. Atticus now knows how to sit, shake, lay down, stay and come. He is incredibly intelligent and therefore requires continued training, including agility training (essential). If he does not listen to a command it is because he chooses not to, not because he doesn't know how.... He is very affectionate and people orientated. He does have severe separation anxiety and due to this we will need to do multiple meet and greets to build a relationship of trust between yourself and Atticus. We are located in Avoca Beach on the Central Coast. Whilst he does have some special needs he is a very loving and rewarding companion and we know the right person is out there for him. 06.01.2022 Hi All, I just wanted to make a quick appreciation post to everyone who supports MWAR with kind words, fostering, donations you name it! You are the glue that makes us work!... An update for you all. We have been really quiet lately due to some difficult personal circumstances that have quite literally frozen us in action. We will be back as soon as we can but unfortunately cannot put a stopwatch on life. Hopefully we are back in action soon!
