The investor was able to refinance all of their money back out after completion because of the increase in value (including the deposit and Reno cost) and the rent went from $230 a week before the Reno to $395 after it. Not bad for 4 weeks, you cant beat a free house :)

Builder's tip: If your house is in a flood zone, you may not be able to build underneath it. Every street in Brisbane is different so check with a builder or designer before you start spending money on plans.
