18.01.2022 CHANGED TRADING HOURS 10 AM TILL 6PM TODAY This is not an easy decision we have come to for our trading hours over the rest of this week but we are asking for everyone’s patience as we work hard to try and get enough stock and to get it processed in a safe and timely manner. There will still be restrictions on items as we only have limited stock levels due to a state wide shortage. ... We ask that you consider the vulnerable members of this community who may need to purchase items as well when choosing products within our store and understand we are trying our best to meet everyone’s needs. 16.01.2022 To our customers, This post is not one of joy or fun for us at all and might be a bit long, so please bear with me. With all of the uncertainty of times ahead we wanted to inform you of our plan to move forward during this COVID-19 virus. We have now implemented several things to try and adhere with the new social distancing rules set out by the Federal Government. Firstly we will only be allowing 3 people inside the shop at anyone time, this includes children. So we ask t...hat you take a look and see if there is anyone in the shop before entering and if so please wait outside and be patient while we work quickly to serve the customers inside the shop. We would also prefer card payment for transactions so as to keep our risk as low as possible, we understand that for some of you it may not be possible and that is ok. Secondly as some of you may or may not know we have been put on rations by our beef suppliers as there is a major shortage of supply available in this state. So there is some stock that is now completely unavailable and some that we are getting in but not the usual volume we require. We ask that you please only buy small amounts so as to leave stock for others in the community. In saying that we have now been forced to limit beef mince to 500g, beef sausages 1kg and flavored sausages to 6 per transaction. Our suppliers are working around the clock to restock their supplies but it takes 5 days from drop off to finish for a body of beef so we all need to be patient. Thirdly being rude to staff in regards to stock unavailability ISNT going to get you that item any quicker. It will however get you a stern word from Renee and myself, which we don’t enjoy doing, but abusing staff is completely unacceptable and will NOT be tolerated in our business. You will be asked to leave and we have the right to refuse a sale if you threaten or use abusive language towards us. We are trying our best and ask for your patience. Fourth (and last point, thank god hahaha) we will be changing our opening and closing hours for the remainder of the week however this may change due to stock availability and may change daily depending on what we have on hand to sell. So as of Tuesday our opening times will be 9.30am-4.30pm, Saturday 8am-12pm. This is only a guide at the moment as if we do not have the stock then we will need to close early or not open at all for the day. We will keep you updated on Facebook if anything changes daily. We would like to thank each and everyone one of our customers for your patience with us as we try our best to navigate through this. It’s not easy for any of us but if we all band together we can and will get through this as a strong community and come out of the other side better than ever. Please contact us on 02 6076 1619 to purchase or put money towards a voucher to be gifted to a local family who have been devastated by the recent fires. Any amount would be greatly appreciated in helping these beautiful people in our wonderful community. EDIT: just to keep you all updated on our progress we have so far raised $4760 in donations and have managed to send 39 vouchers out to those who definitely need and deserve... a helping hand !! We still have more vouchers to write and distribute and still more people on the list to cover so keep those so donations coming !!
