25.01.2022 In the interest of making sure everyone is informed , we have been notified by Pedal Mafia that as we have reached a specific minimum order, you have the option (not mandatory) to select a different material range called TECH. The current range that we have priced is for CORE. So for those that like having choices, you can elect to purchase the TECH Jersey by paying an extra $20, that is $109 for the TECH Jersey rather than $89 for the CORE Jersey. So your choices ...are: - Do nothing and leave your order as is and get the $89 CORE Jersey, which is awesome and recommended! - Pay a total of $109 (extra $20 for those of you that have already paid) to get the TECH Jersey, which is also awesome! Remember, you dont need to change your decisionwe just want everyone to be informed of the options. To me they both look pretty much the same so save your $20. Now, I also want to point out that the Jersey design that has been chosen is indicative of what the actual result will be once finalised and produced. Some slight alterations may be made as deemed necessary by me or suggested by Pedal/Mafia. 20.01.2022 What an awesome group ride this morning! Just a fabulous morning to get out on your bike. Please note this is advance notice that as the mornings are getting lighter we will revert back to starting at 6 AM from Saturday 3rd October, still from the Malaga Markets. That should give everyone enough notice.

19.01.2022 Given the COVID 19 situation, please be aware of the following: If you are feeling ill or have a cold or anything like that then please DO NOT turn up for the group ride, and stay at home and get better. If you have returned from overseas within the last 14 days or have come in contact with anyone that is ill or has tested positive for COVID 19, then again please DO NOT turn up for a group ride. Cycling Australia have released a post the other day suggesting that people practice adequate distancing when riding in a group.....such as staying 1.5 metres apart when riding beside or behind a rider, and to remain in this way even when stopped at lights. They also suggest that groups be no larger than 10. If you do decide to come out for the group ride tomorrow, please be aware of the suggestions above and above all stay safe.

17.01.2022 Due to restrictions as a result of the COVID19 situation, we regrettably can no longer hold our Saturday morning group ride. We must all do all we can to help flatten the curve. So the Saturday group ride will be suspended until further notice. I will provide an update around the end of April and see if things change at that time, so it will be a monthly review. In the mean time, keep enjoying your cycling as a solo activity as I continue to do. Stay safe and look after each other.

07.01.2022 The new Jerseys have arrived!!!! For those of you that are still actively cycling with us on the Saturday ride, you have hopefully been able to collect it by now. For those not actively cycling with us currently, you have 3 choices. Pick it up when you next come out for a cycle with MCT, or come and see us for a coffee on a Saturday after we get back from a ride and pick it up then, or send us a message if you want to make other arrangements to pick it up. Remember, we are starting from the Malaga Markets now, and at 6:30am. Thanks for your continued support.

There are some minor changes to be made but we will choose one! (jersey only). Please get behind your cycling team and let us know if you will purchase one. 06.01.2022 And the winning Jersey is...... Number 2!!! but with a few updates. Regular font rather than italics, removed yellow from the sleaves as there is enough colour on the Jersey, and the rear pocket panel is now Red for better visibility. There will be a male and female cut....so different sizing for male and female styles. How exciting....make sure you don't miss out....you don't want to be the only one not wearing one. Instructions to be sent soon on how to purchase one.

06.01.2022 I hope you are all safe and well. Just an update regarding Jerseys. We are expecting them to be delivered to us by Friday 1st May. There has been delays based on the current Pandemic environment we are in. I will let you know when they arrive and the arrangements on picking them up. In the meantime, keep enjoying your cycling and riding solo!

Its crazy to think that every day 63 young Aussies will be affected by can...cer whether thats their own diagnosis or that of a family or friend. 04.01.2022 Don't forget.....Group ride is on tomorrow morning and 1.START LOCATION IS AT THE MARKETS, 2.START TIME IS 6:30AM SHARP. We will refine the logistics as we go, but see the mud map attached which shows where each group should be, and where you need to park your car if driving in. The President will have centre position to address the people. See you in the morning.

03.01.2022 Riding solo has been great, but we all miss the group riding so its time to get it started again now that we have slightly relaxed rules. However, we will make some changes (there are 2 changes) so please pay attention. 1-We will start at the Markets rather than at the Shop. The Shop car park is a more confined space and we dont want to risk having a gathering that is larger than allowed. All we need is for a police car to be driving past while we are trying to split int...o groups, and it will potentially appear that we have a gathering larger than 10, so it wont be good and could be expensive! At the Markets, we will allocate well separated zones for riders to congregate to ensure grouping and distancing. So as you arrive move quickly to those areas. There will be myself and others to direct you initially, and we will get used to it quickly. 2-We will change the start time to 6:30am for winter. This is to compensate for it being darker, and we would rather be safer on the roads and have less time riding in the dark during this time. We will trial this and do it in the months of say May, June, July. A lot to take in I know.so remember 2 things: 1-START LOCATION IS THE MARKETS, 2-START TIME IS 6:30 AM. So if you are well, see you on Saturday, however, as before if you are unwell then stay home and get well. See more
