24.01.2022 With the NT borders opening recently, we have put in place some new measures at the Clinic. We want to explain the changes to the community so you feel informed. The new process is that only one person at a time can go into reception. You will be registered, screened and asked to wait outside before being brought in for your consultation. This may affect waiting times and consultations. You may be asked to wear a mask if you have any of the following:... Cough Runny nose Sore throat We do this to stop spreading germs and keep the community safe.

15.01.2022 Orange Sky has been providing free mobile laundry facilities in partnership with Mala'la Health Service since the end of January this year. This partnership is valuable for supporting the Maningrida Community in a really practical way. A team of local Community Workers from Mala'la have received training in operating the service and van. The workers are providing shifts at different locations in the five suburbs in Maningrida. In six weeks, they have provided around 40 se...parate shifts at different locations and supported people in the community to complete over 380 loads of washing. This is around a huge 5700 kilograms of washing. We look forward to continuing this partnership and practical support in Maningrida. See more

02.01.2022 Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) MANINGRIDA Update There are currently no suspected cases of COVID-19 in Maningrida. Residents should stay alert but can carry on wi...th their normal activities. The two fishermen who were on the same flight as the 52-year-old man with a confirmed COVID-19 infection from the QF840 flight from Sydney on Tuesday remain well and pose no risk to the community. There is 1 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Territory as at today this person is located in Darwin. There are no other confirmed cases anywhere else in the Territory. The most important thing for everyone to remember is to maintain hygiene by: - Washing your hands - Avoid shaking hands with people who may be unwell - Stay at a distance of 1.5 m away from someone who is unwell - Coughing or sneezing into your elbow - Don’t go to crowded places if you’re unwell.
