The P&C is super excited to be hosting Book Fair because it encourages a love of reading, and a massive 40% of all proceeds goes directly back to the school to purchase classroom resources. Students will be attending Book Fair during class as usual, but parents will not be allowed to attend these sessions unless they are volunteering as helpers. Parents wishing to purchase books for/with their child are invited to come before school 8:00-8:45, at lunch breaks 11:00-11:30 & 1:15-1:45, and after school 3:00-3:30. Parents will be asked to sign in at Book Fair. Please do not go to the office to sign in. Social distancing rules apply, and we thank you for your patience and courteousness to our volunteers and to other customers. "Winter Wonderland" is our theme. 24.01.2022 It was a cracking first day on the Mothers' Day stall yesterday and great to have some help from a couple of our Malanda Dads. We're looking forward to some more "secret" shopping fun with the littlies today Leftover items will be available for sale immediately after school until 3:30pm today in the meeting room end of the resource centre. Thanks to everyone who has supported the stall.

11.01.2022 Moolanda Cafe is excited to be part of U8’s day. So we can ensure we have enough to feed all the students please ensure you get your order in early. We will have the order available online Wednesday afternoon. Order forms will also be available at the Moolanda Cafe. The hot dogs will be available at 1st break. And cakes, ice blocks, yoghurt ice cream will be available 2nd break. The normal menu will not apply for the day.

Missy's life brought joy, love and compassion to our Malanda Family. 01.01.2022 Happy Mothers' Day to our MSS Mums, Grandmas, Nans and Aunties. We hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy the gifts that were so carefully selected by your little ones. The 2021 Mothers’ Day stall was not only a record-breaking fundraiser but, more importantly, it was a thrilling, independent shopping experience for our eager, young students. Thank you to our hard-working stall coordinator, Mandy Bormolini, and the volunteer mums, dads and grandparents who made this wonderful experience possible. Other highlights this year included a drop in from a local crime-fighting duo including our P&C president and adopt-a-cop, Phil Sly as well as a visit from our busy principal, Mr Allen, who helped serve on the stall. Enjoy your day everyone!
