13.01.2022 Entries are now open via Swim Central to the FNQ Swimming Short Course Championships. Helping to support local families, FNQ Swimming has reduced the entry... fee per event to $2. We hope this will encourage greater participation throughout the weekend with swimmers taking on the challenge of multiple events over the three days. The event will be held from September 11th 13th. Friday All Junior (10&U) Age Champion, Relay & 1500 Freestyle and 400IM distance events. At this stage, given the age of the junior swimmers, FNQ Swimming is exploring ticketing for one parent per child / family. Arrangements to be advised in the coming days. Saturday & Sunday All 11&O Age Champion, Relay and remaining Form Stroke and Freestyle Champion events. This will be spectator free, and will run similarly to the recent carnivals hosted by TAS Swimming. McDonald's FNQ Swimmer of the Year Awards will be announced on Saturday between sessions FNQRSA AGM will be held on Sunday between sessions Championship Awards will be announced at the conclusion of the event with the exception of the junior events, which will be done on Friday. FNQ Swimming would like to once again thank TAS Swimming and Trinity Anglican School for allowing the use of the TAS Aquatic Centre and enabling the region to have what has so far been a great Short Course season for our swimmers.
