Up to 50 people can gather in homes and public spaces across Queensland Person limits in indoor premises will increase from 1 person per 4 square metres to 1 person per 2 square metres Up to 200 people can attend weddings and funerals, and all guests can dance at weddings, both indoors and outdoors... Seated, ticketed indoor events like theatre, live music, cinemas and sports can increase patron numbers from 50% to 100% Outdoor events can have up to 1,500 people attend with a COVID Safe Event Checklist. Open air stadiums can increase seated capacity from 75% to 100% with a COVID Safe Plan Outdoor dancing will be allowed, including at events like outdoor music festivals or in beer gardens Stay safe and remember, if you’re sick, stay home. #covid19au

06.01.2022 Important updates from the Premier, Deputy Premier and the Chief Health Officer this morning regarding COVID-19. Gatherings at homes are limited to 10 people across greater Brisbane Gathering outdoors are also limited to 10 people across greater Brisbane ... Cafes, restaurants and other commercial venues with active COVID safe plans will not be impacted Aged care facilities in these areas are now under lockdown with no guests allowed. These new restrictions apply to the local government areas of Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Scenic Rim, Moreton Bay, Redlands and the Lockyer Valley. Please remember that we are all in this together. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms please isolate and get tested. Every Queenslander has their own COVID safe plan, if you’re an at risk individual please consider staying home this weekend.
