09.01.2022 Trikonasana (extended angle pose AKA triangle pose) - pronounced trik-cone-AHS-anna Trikona = three angle or triangle... Strong legs, spiralling heart, active hands I grew to love this pose, it wasnt always a place where I could settle and feel comfortable. If you feel this way too, remember your own unique variations that support your practice - hand on hip, hand on block, lift the torso higher, drishti at bottom foot. Trikonasana helps with focus and steadiness, both internally and externally. Legs are being toned, ankles strengthened and hips, groins and side body stretched too. A beautiful pose to discover again and again and again

04.01.2022 Moving your body is so important throughout all stages of life, but sometimes it can be hard to find your "thing" At a certain point in my life I moved away from participating in team sports but wanted/needed something to fill the gap. My sporadic attendance at the gym (more off than on ) and my complete lack of coordination to keep up with a pump class meant I needed to keep searching.... When I found yoga, I knew that this was my thing.
