22.01.2022 KATONG LAKSA Katong Laksa is a variant of laksa lemak inspired by the Straits Chinese who live in the precinct of Katong in Singapore. It has a spicy soup stock the colour of a flaming sunset, flavoured with coconut milk and dried shrimp, and topped with ingredients like cockles, prawns and fishcake. We can't find the cockles in brisbane and we replace it with our homemade Yong Tau Fu. The creamy favorite of curry and shrimp favorite just perfect with our Yong Tau Fu. Yum yum .

10.01.2022 Cendol is a cold coconut milk dessert that is extremely popular among locals in Southeast Asian countries especially Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The signature green strands in the dessert are made of rice flour, fresh pandan juice, tapioca flour, and have the texture of soft jelly. The dessert is topped with coconut sugar syrup, sweet kidney beans and cream corn. These make up the ingredients of a basic glass/bowl of the delicious cendol.
