16.01.2022 For those who know me well and know my story, these words are far from foreign to me. In many ways they have become my personal internal battle cry when challenged. When these words come to mind I am both fearful and inspired. In fear of what lies ahead, but ready and focused to do what is required to win. Fearful that there is something unforseen in my path that may prevent me from what I have set out to achieve. At the same time inspired to not allow the unforseen to depriv...e me of my dreams and goals. Have I always won? No. Have I been deprived of my dreams? More than I care to recall. But I have always managed to get back up, dust myself off and move forward (sometimes by myself, often with the help of some amazing people). Sometimes down a different path For all of us facing the unforseen, control the controllable, fight to stay on your feet, if you stumble regain your footing, if you fall, keep getting up. Lose the battle, but NEVER lose the war. Easier said than done but with out the mindset it's definitely impossible.
