12.01.2022 Harvesting Chardonnay 2019

11.01.2022 We have had quite a few queries today about our proximity to the Adelaide Hills Cudlee Creek Fires, so just want to let everyone know that we are fine. From late Friday to early evening Saturday, we were inside the ‘Watch & Act’ zone, which meant we had all antennas out and fire fighting equipment ready, to be safe. We ensured everyone knew we were in a ‘do not enter’ zone and stayed vigilant. When we were moved outside of the zone early evening yesterday, we were definitely ...relieved to be spared this time around, but very mindful of all those very close who were not spared. And all of those in NSW and QLD who have for the past couple of months, and still are living through the nightmare of these horrific fires. The risk of fire during the hot, dry summers, is an unfortunate, but very real part of living in our otherwise so beautiful and magnificent state and country. This is our mantra, while other parts of the country and the world may risk flooding, earthquake, etc. So while we would not wish it upon anyone to experience, let alone get hurt or worse, we accept it is part of our lives, and are thankful for every day, week, month and year we remain safe and see just the magnificent parts. To all of you out there suffering through losses in the fires now, our thoughts are with you, and we hope that you will soon again see the light through the darkness. To everyone, we wish for you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See more

22.11.2021 It’s not all about the wine.......... The first calf of the year. So delightful

11.11.2021 Tuesday has arrived and we’re underway with picking Chardonnay. What a glorious morning

08.11.2021 Harvest is closing in, with picking due on Tuesday for the Chardonnay. Harvest is looking GOOD this year, after a few scrumpy years. We’ll be making the special edition this year, which is why the beaume read of 11.7 yesterday called for harvest early next week. And that is a good thing, as they birds love it too much, and seem to disregards the scare tricks we try. Wait out for more on the Chardonnay next week
