21.01.2022 Get on board everyone these guys have been awesome supporters of your local fire brigades for many years

21.01.2022 CFA has received a number of calls from community members regarding bonfires to mark the ‘Spark in the Dark’ event this evening. We appreciate those who are tha...nking our frontline workers, but urge you to keep fire safety front of mind. As today’s conditions are windy in some areas we are urging those who wish to participate to not do so by lighting bonfires or using fire pits. If you are choosing to light a candle, please ensure it is monitored by an adult and extinguished properly. You might like to mark the event by using a torch or outside light. Thank you and stay safe.

20.01.2022 FACE MASKS MANDATORY FOR ALL FROM AUGUST 2 The Premier has announced from Sunday August 2 at 11:59pm, a face covering will be mandatory whenever you leave home ... and wherever you live in Victoria. "I understand this will be a big step for some. But by covering your face, you’re protecting your community, and protecting those extra freedoms your community enjoys," the Premier said. "By covering your face, you’re keeping local businesses open, and keeping local people in work." The move comes after Victoria recorded a peak of 723 new COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths. From tonight, bans have now also been placed on visiting the following areas: Colac-Otway, Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Moorabool, Golden Plains, and the Borough of Queenscliffe. See more
