It had been a very challenging time and a lot of uncertainty then, we really appreciated people's understanding, through such a frightening time. I know we were one of the lucky one's. So thank you.

07.01.2022 Hi everyone, We just wanted to say "HAPPY EASTER" and hope you are all keeping well. Here at Maleny Luxury Cottages we are keeping busy with lots of gardening, painting and building, for when guests do start coming again. It has been certainly a trying time for everyone and through this stress the best thing I found helps is supervising hubby doing the gardening whilst I'm drinking wine and eating chocolate!

03.01.2022 We’re very lucky you can see platypus in many locations across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. One of the best platypus viewing is along the Maleny Trail. It’s a... 6.7km return easy walk with sections that are wheelchair friendly. Park in the Maleny Showgrounds and cross the Obi Obi Creek via the footbridge. Follow the banks along the boardwalk. Step out onto the footpath and walk past the library, across the road and to the boardwalk at the back of the Riverside Centre. Follow the well signed trail along the creek, and around the golf course, then down Parklands Drive to retrace your steps. Platypus are very shy so be patient. Best viewing times are at dawn or dusk.
