25.01.2022 It was an absolute pleasure to host the Glasshouse Christian College Yr 11 agriculture class yesterday. What better way to learn about animal nutrition, milk production and all things dairy than to learn from the very best dairy in Queensland, Maleny Dairies! Also to have the incredibly knowledgeable Mr John Moor talk about the amazing sustainable natural farming techniques and scientific methods behind every day practices. Thank you Jade King for bringing your Aggies to the Dairies for a tour and talk about sustainable farming.

25.01.2022 We appreciate Woolies for doing something they said they were going to do. A lot of customers mentioned to us our milk was running out and Woolies management said they would adjust the orders to get more milk onto the shelves. See how you go. Obviously the more milk we sell the more farms we can secure a future for in Queensland. Ps Woolies are going to have our cream in their stores shortly. Top Job.

25.01.2022 Business Update The Maleny Dairies point of difference is our commitment to fight hard to keep Queensland Dairy Farmers operating and to fight hard for Queensland Families who want to support their local farms and have high quality milk as a healthy food source for their growing families. We estimate there are less than 280 farms left in Queensland today. Despite what they tell you, the multinationals are 100% responsible for this disaster. Raw milk is cheaper to buy in the s...Continue reading

25.01.2022 Well things are working out in favor for our farmers thanks to you our customers. We really appreciate your support and are now looking further afield to take on another couple of farms to supply us. Even during trying times you are making a difference and its working.... Our farmers a forever grateful that they are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. The cows are responding to the love and producing the best milk they can. Thumbs up all round we say. 25.01.2022 How blessed are we to live in this part of the country. Beautiful blue skies, lush green paddocks and happy cows. What more could we ask for... Stay tuned for an exciting announcement this week! Video credit: Popeye

23.01.2022 Thank you Danilo M for sending through this fantastic shot of Keith & Sonya’s Guernsey girls being milked. Joining the dairy tour at 2:30pm, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to view this process up close.

23.01.2022 Have you visited the Dairies for a Farm & Factory Tour? We love receiving happy snaps and feedback like this. Thank you Tammy V. "Good morning We visited for a tour last Friday and we had a great time especially my son. Thanks to Abbey for being our tour guide. ... I’ve attached a photo of my son enjoying his Maleny milk. We love your brand and only buy Maleny milk."

23.01.2022 Early morning views like this can’t get any better. Our tanker drivers are pretty fantastic photographers too, capturing such exquisite sunrises.

22.01.2022 One of our local farmers Tamika, is a 4th generation dairy farmer on her family's farm and enjoys some downtime with her calves and trusty dog, Ace. Maleny Dairies award winning Farmers Choice milk is an old fashioned milk with a thick layer of cream on top! Our Farmers Choice Milk is pasteurised only, this minimal processing delivers you a milk that is as close to nature as is legally possible to sell. Its silky golden colour is attributed to the high butterfat content of... the Guernsey breed and the natural richness of the milk. Fresh! Best! LOCAL! Photo credit: Steph

22.01.2022 Look what Keith did for his farm dog who got too old to jump in the Ute anymore. What have you done for your dogs to make their life more comfortable?

22.01.2022 We were thrilled to be announced as State Winners in the delicious. Australia Harvey Norman produce from the Earth, Dairy, Paddock and Sea categories a few months back and the Maleny Dairies team is even more excited to announce that we WON the 2020 Gold Medal for our REAL CREAM. Thank you to Chef Alanna Sapwell for the nomination. A message from the judging panel: I thank our State Winners who did everything they could to get their award-winning produce to our Sydney-based... judges: Neil Perry, Matt Moran, Peter Gilmore, Danielle Alvarez, Colin Fassnidge and Guillaume Brahimi to judge solo in isolation. Every judge said they missed being able to sit around the table and share opinions, but postponing the process was never an option. For many producers, this year has been tougher than ever, following drought, bushfires and flood, then scaling back production due to Covid-19, so we were determined to find a way to continue because theres never been a more important time to support our producers. Congratulations to this years Gold Medallists. The produce they delivered during a time of unprecedented change showed just how hard Australian farmers, fishermen and artisans work at their craft. In the spirit of our amazing win, we are giving away a tub of cream, 1L custard, 1.9kg Yoghurt and 2L Farmers Choice milk to the first 10 comments on this post. Products to be collected from the Maleny Dairies factory in Maleny. #produceawards #knowyourproducer #makeitdelicious #producetoyou

22.01.2022 Our local farmer (Keith) making friends with the locals - while feeding the calves he comes and tells him stories.

21.01.2022 A few months back we had the pleasure of meeting David, the director of the Australian Firefighters Calendar. He is an avid supporter of the dairy industry and invited us along to one of their photo shoots on the Gold Coast. Of course we couldnt help but take some delicious products along for the crew. Be still our beating hearts, as firefighters Anthony, Cale, Rob & Richard posed with silky soft cats and an adorable chihuahua for their upcoming 2021 calendar. We had a blast David and Sherryn, thank you for having us and thank you for supporting local. Head to www.australianfirefighterscalendar.com for their latest news!!

21.01.2022 It’s All Good. Rain, hail or shine we all know our farmers have to milk their cows. This current season is no different so we’ll always have your essentials in store. From us all, we appreciate your support. Together we’ll all do our bit to keep Queensland strong and healthy.

20.01.2022 No we’re not going broke! Our main phone lines have been disconnected by Telstra and you can call our office mobile on 0438 943 492. Well we’ve had the biggest stuff around that no business should have and we’ve had all our landline phones disconnected for 8 days now. We eventually got through to someone in India who said this was an accidental disconnection ( second time this year) and had them divert our phones to the office mobile, which they’ve now stuffed that up too.... Tours are still operating as normal and can book online through our online booking system on the website - https://www.malenydairies.com/ We reckon Telstra could have a call centre in Australia for Australian’s, so at least we can get through as we’d like our phones back on. Pretty quick would be nice. Oh well we’ll see how long this takes. We apologise for the inconvenience. MD

20.01.2022 Bean To The Beach is among heaps of little guys that support locals. Located at Alex Beach Cabins. Great being able to have the kids help out also. Especially now they're at home for another two weeks. #bean_to_the_beach

20.01.2022 A massive shout out and heartfelt thanks goes out to Ingrid from Buderim. She kindly donated this antique butter churn, which used to be on her family’s dairy farm and she thought it would be a welcome addition to the treasures here at MALENY Dairies. We often receive old tractors, machinery and equipment to display at the Dairies.... Thank you Ingrid and family for this beautiful antique treasure.

20.01.2022 Hercules and Bailey are looking for their forever homes. If you would like more information on how to adopt one of these Bobby calves, please e-Mail Steph at [email protected]

17.01.2022 The Siena Catholic College milk club enjoying some pasteurised and homogenised Maleny Dairies Full Cream Milk. Every Monday during their lunch break, a group of teacher's and students gather together to have a milk taste testing and discuss all things MILK! Thank you for sharing this great photo with us!... #supportlocal #australianproducts #queenlsandsmallbusiness

15.01.2022 Friday traffic jams that we can live with. The tanker driver had to wait for these girls to MOO’ve along down the lane, so he could be on his way and collect the milk from one of our local farmers. #supportlocal #queenslanddairyfarmers

15.01.2022 Well how good are you Western Folk! Thanks for your support. We had Charlie our sales rep doing the rounds out west visiting a heap of regional towns. Our sales regionally have dramatically increased along with new shops far and wide like Cloncurry, Longreach, Quilpie and Proserpine. Weve nearly got our milk into every IGA in Queensland now. Great support from IGAs, Cornetts and Drakes. This is Queenslanders looking after their farmers.

15.01.2022 We thinks its pretty neat when a bloke is making a model town and asks us if he can stick our logo on his model truck. Were honored that he asked.

14.01.2022 There are a few more Greenies about I’ve noticed. Isn’t it good seeing a few more than normal? Hopefully if we keep looking after our backyards we will keep these little blokes happy and maybe toads will get the hint that they are not welcome.

13.01.2022 How great is the weather now being the first day of spring. All of the farmers cows are milking well so theres heaps of milk to go around. 05.01.2022 What did your kids get up to on the holidays? These kids had some friends over and decided to make some down hill mountain bike tracks on our farm at Peachester. Double Black Diamond they reckon! We’ve kept a few bush blocks aside and what better way to enjoy it.

04.01.2022 One of our happy WINNERS from the recent FB competition, little Miss looks very happy with her prize. Super grateful for all the support across Queensland - THANK YOU.

04.01.2022 You may have noticed the viscosity of our cream has changed recently, this has not changed the taste or whippability of the cream. The new machinery is treating our cream a little more gently and it still had the same ingredient, 100% real cream. We do apologise for this technical hiccup and appreciate your continued support.

02.01.2022 Regional Queensland we need your help to keep our local farmers in business. Our farmers are leaving the industry at A great rate of knots. Over 1200 in the last 20 years. MD has slowed the farmers leaving the industry locally and wants to save the rest of Qld before its too late. ... Can you please ask your local IGAs to stock a local brand. If no local stock ours as were available in all IGAs and friendly grocers etc. shops can get it in. We want to take on more regional farms in Qld to keep them alive. Our industry really appreciates the top effort put in by you all. Youre making a difference. Weve currently got 11 farming families that supply us and with a bit of public support we want to double that number this year. This will allow us to take on more farms and therefore we might be saving a farm in your area. Great work guys so far, keep it up. See more

01.01.2022 Our phone lines seem to be out of order and we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 01.01.2022 10 Did You Knows... 1. Did you know - Maleny Dairies are the only multi-farm Processor concentrating solely on Queensland Farming Families. 2. Did you know - Maleny Dairies bought 1,216,394 litres of milk in August and we will pay an average of 77.7 cents per litre for that milk. 4. Did you know that it is you who has made thi...s happen when you buy our milk. By keeping your promise in purchasing our milk we are keeping our promises to pay as much as we can to our Queensland Farmers. 5. Did you know that Coles and Woolworths are serious when they say that the only people they listen to is their customer. So thats you, our valued customer, that they will listen to. So make your voice loud and strong. 6. Did you know that by the end of the year Maleny Dairies will be able to double its current production capacity because of your continued support. 7. Did you know Maleny Dairies want to use this capacity to take on more Queensland Farmers and spread our distribution so more people can enjoy our farmers fantastic milk. 8. Did you know Maleny Dairies have been given the challenge to try and help more than just the Dairy Farms in our local back yard? 9. Did you know Maleny Dairies have been thinking very hard about this all year. 10. Did you know we have a big announcement to make next Friday........Exciting Business Update coming 11 September 2020 See more

01.01.2022 Bit of a busy day yesterday. We had three of the trucks trying to get loaded at once. Hats off to our forkies and vendors making sure that they get the right milk to their depots, then to you fresh and ontime. Dont you just appreciate great staff.

19.12.2021 Maleny’s changed over the years. Gone is the Butter Factory and the horse hitching rails. But at least Maleny is keeping up with the times as they’ve got Quad Bike parking! I dunno but I reckon it would be neat seeing horses hitched up in town.

30.11.2021 These girls are just making sure we are looking after their milk, especially when they put so much love into providing it fresh for you. Picking up from the Bradley family farm at Dayboro. Thanks Bart for the Happy Snap. #thebestmilk

13.11.2021 Who thinks there’s a better place to work than here in Qld? Aren’t we blessed that we can enjoy these early mornings without looking through smog. Haven’t we got a great country? Steve, one of my operators on the graveyard shift has shared these with you. The pink sky is after a storm and the other is from a full moon this week.

28.10.2021 Wouldn’t you love this in your backyard? It’s certainly the right weather for a swim. Gardner’s Falls in Maleny is a public waterhole about 3km downstream from the dairy. If your coming up for a tour why not bring your togs and go for a swim and vice versa why not come for a tour if your coming up for a swim. Please book online for our farm tours. We’re not open Sundays or public holidays.

18.10.2021 What’s that smell? Well when you’re trying your best to be good farmers now and for the future there’s some things that mightn’t smell nice. It’s only natural that poo stinks. After the next shower of rain it will be gone. We get in The Copas Family to do our spreading. They have been in Maleny over 60 years and used to be dairy farmers as well. But like a lot of dairies they had to diversify to something else more profitable. It’s amazing where they take their trucks to get an all over coverage.

06.10.2021 Our first farmers in this series of Meet the Farmers, Wayne and Sonya Ferris. We’ve got some great farmers who have been looking after their farms for a lot of years. There’s certainly been some testing times, however with our customers help it’s making a difference. They appreciate you and can see a future, hence why they're adjusting their herd management to suit.

30.09.2021 Francis is giving you a run down on some of the investments the Woods family are doing to help improve his herd health. This intern helps the cows give more milk without running them into the ground. He loves his cows and wants the best for them. All our farmers are doing their bit.

12.09.2021 Darren Wilks reckons this Covid has cost him lots. He had to put up with the kids at home on the farm during lockdowns, I suppose it’s better than being out on the street running amuck! Tell us what you ran into when you were learning to drive?

03.09.2021 Haven’t we got the Best Farmers around! They’ve got their head down bum up (or the cows have anyway) getting milk to you. Their not letting any pandemic stop them from supplying. Aren’t we blessed to have them and they certainly appreciate your support. We’re doing our bit to keep these shelves full with semi loads going out. #TheBestMilk
