18.01.2022 If you like Robin Williams you'll love this: "Knowing - Robin Williams donned many characters in his lifetime. From sweaty standup riffs to sitcom mayhem as an alien named Mork, or from an Academy Award-winning performance in Good Will Hunting to a Disneyfied blue Genie, Robin was constantly pushing his craft. But behind these displays of brilliance was an isolated and truly misunderstood man. In the epic biography Robin, journalist Dave Itzkoff details the fragmentation of one of America’s most beloved comics. In its debut season, Knowing combines interviews with Robin’s family and friends with Itzkoff’s fresh research and poignant insights to paint a true depiction of the man behind the screen." https://omny.fm/shows/knowing

Then: THE MAIN EVENT - LIVE - watch the Transit of MERCURY over the Sun's face from 12:34-18:03 (UTC) which is 10.34pm (11th) to 4.03am, on 12th November (AEST). MERCURY TRANSIT VIEWING: Every now and again the Planet Mercury gets into position between the Earth and the Sun whereby we see it pass directly across the face of the Sun. That can be quiet spectacular, plus rare, as Mercury only does so about 14 times per century. If you have been here a few years you may remember the Transit of Venus across the face of the Sun in 2012 when it appeared as a small, dark spot passing across the Sun's face. It was on 6 June 2012. We had an online hookup in CW to watch it. Roughly 13-14 times each century, Mercury passes directly in front of the Sun, casting a small black silhouette in front of the solar disk for a few hours. The transit will be visible from Africa, the Americas, Europe and French Polynesia, not here. Mercury last transited in May 2016, and its next transit will be in November 2032. Mercury is shrinking and this process crumples the surface, creating lobe-shaped scarps or cliffs some hundreds of klms long and soaring up to a 2 klms high, as well as Mercury's "Great Valley", which at about 1000klms long, 400klm wide and 3klms deep. Its larger than the Grand Canyon. Mercury speeds around the sun every 88 Earth days, traveling through space at nearly 180,000 km/h, faster than any other planet . Its oval-shaped orbit is highly elliptical, taking Mercury as close as 47 million klm and as far as 70 million klm from the Sun. It goes visibly backwards - retrograde - from the Earth three times per year. It's doing so right now until late November AND if you want to just watch online at home go to www.space.com

12.01.2022 This Sunday at Crystal Waters, Lot 66, we;ll be showing a doco about Bucky!
