16.01.2022 Dear Festival Family. Maleny Music Festival will continue monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and what it may mean for our festival. We are committed to acting in strict accordance with Government advice on the issue and to ensure that the safety of our patrons, artists, volunteers and staff are our number one priority. With venues, festivals, concerts and theatrical productions closing across the country, there will be a devastating impact on our creative industries eve...rywhere, sadly our artists will share in this loss. Whilst our beautiful festival is still 5 months away, at this point in time we are planning on proceeding with the event and are processing all applications. In addition, we are working hard and considering all alternatives in the vision that we can bring the 9th Maleny Music Festival to life to support our loved artists, patrons and community. 14.01.2022 Deline Briscoe is an internationally acclaimed singer songwriter hailing from the Gugu Yalanji of North Australia. Her soulful, intimate sound has defined her as one of Australia's finest voices. 10.01.2022 @i_am_lovelybones (LOVELY BONES) brought their Swamp Folk ( = Alt Country/Gospel Blues/Country Blues) to the 2019 festival. Carolyna Lovely sings about love in all of its glory. Their Festival set was a slow groove, mellow with a set of originals that spoke of love for music, lovers, and the land she's walked on. None of that 'floral-bouquet-of-love' kind of soundtrack though. 01.01.2022 Maleny Music Festival 2020 cancelled Apologies for the delay in this announcement which we kind of knew was coming.... . The Maleny Music Festival will not be going ahead in 2020. . We have been watching the developments of Covid19 closely and have been considering an option of at least a one day event but even that is not possible in September. . A Saturday event in possibly October or November is being explored, with Social Distancing policies in place. . We know many people are very keen to get back to Maleny for something this year.
