25.01.2022 Tomorrow is our AGM Thursday 15 October at 5pm, at the Centre. We will be electing a Management Committee for the coming year, so it’s an important meeting to keep the Centre running smoothly. Everyone is welcome to come along, but you need to be a member of the MNC if you want to vote for the different Committee members.... We will be arranging music and canapes, so it will be an evening to remember! Please let us know for catering purposes. 5499 9345



23.01.2022 Meet some more of our staff and volunteers! Maleny Neighbourhood Centre is an awesome place to volunteer! While we love to serve our community, we have our own community, which is like an extended family!... Come and join us, we make a great team, even if you only want to spare 2 hours per week, every hour adds up! There are opportunities in different area’s so phone 5499 9345 on 11 Jan to make an appointment with our Volunteer Support Worker.

20.01.2022 Christmas Concert, Food, Santa & Bar 4 hours of musical entertainment and carols for the entire family. Gates open 5pm so you can grab a bite to eat from one of the service clubs. Delicious foods from Apex’s garlic prawn skewers, to Lions sausage sizzle and Maleny Neighbourhood Centre’s curry bowls and sweets. Rotary will be running a bar with beers/wine/premixed spirit drinks and soft drinks for sale. Bring along your picnic rug or chairs. You can have your photo taken with ...Santa and Mrs Claus for a gold coin donation with monies donated to the Maleny Flexi School. We are giving away 2x $100 Maleny Gift Cards for the best dressed Christmas Adult (18 & above) and the best dressed Christmas Child (17 and younger). Maleny Blackall Range Lions will be selling their famous Christmas Cakes and puddings as well as selling tickets in the huge Christmas raffle of Maleny businesses products, services and gift vouchers. Raffle being drawn on the night. Maleny Commerce will have available for purchase the Maleny Gift Card so you can start your Christmas shopping. ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED NO MATTER WHAT AGE, EVEN IF UNDER 10. Under our covid plan we can only have 1200 in attendance and we must record every attendees’ details. 20.01.2022 Tomorrow from 9 am Maleny Fix it Cafe is a social enterprise run from Maleny Neighbourhood Centre. The aim is to reduce landfill and encourage recycling and re purposing. All repairs are assessed and if fixable are repaired for a cost of $5 donation to MNC.... Maleny Fix It Cafe is run by volunteers and encourages social connection and aims to reduce social isolation. Due to legislation, we are unable to currently repair electrical goods. With regular practice Qi-gong helps cleanse the body of toxins, restores energy, reduce stress and anxiety and helps individuals maintain a healthy and active life.... No experience necessary, suitable for all ages. Session will run approximately one hour, beginning with a warm up, 18 movements Shabashi and ending with a short guided meditation. Participation costs $5 which goes to MNC

14.01.2022 Come along tomorrow and meet Meryl, or on the second Tuesday of each month. Meryl will show you step by step, how to make lovely floral arrangements. Meryl will take photos of the steps she uses to make the arrangements and email them to you.... She will also take photos of your work each week and email them to you.
