24.01.2022 Good morning everyone, It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we wish to advise that we will not be returning to the pool this season. Unfortunately the swimming club (our employer) has not come forward with a contract for the upcoming season so we have chosen to take up a position elsewhere. Apologies for this however circumstances are completely out of our hands. For any further inquiries regarding the upcoming season it would be best to contact the Maleny swimm...ing Club. 18.01.2022 A great weekend was had by all at the State Sprint Championships. Some fantastic efforts resulting in PB’s all round, 2 state final swims and plenty of bonding time for both parents and swimmers alike. Well done to all of you, firstly for achieving the times and secondly for doing your club proud in what can be a very daunting environment first time round. Keep up the good work, busy end of the season, however not long to go now...

15.01.2022 Good morning to each of our swimming community. We will be closing the pool earlier than anticipated at 9am tomorrow morning. We have cancelled all Learn to Swim and squad sessions effective immediately. On behalf of myself, Bec and Maree we have thoroughly enjoyed our first season at the pool teaching and interacting with your wonderful children. We are also happy to know that we have negotiated a new contract and will be coming back next season and look forward to seein...g you all again. For those of you we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye too, please be careful, stay safe and stay well during these times. See you all in September. Regards Rob, Bec and Maree

12.01.2022 Congratulations to all swimmers who competed at wide bay regional championships this weekend. Some excellent P.B’s and a huge congratulations to Darcy Higgins who managed to secure 2 wide bay championship records for 12 year old in the 400IM and the 200 Backstroke. All of you have been a fantastic crew of swimmers to spend the season with and your efforts have shone through in the end.

Until any further expert advice is received we will be remaining open until our scheduled closure date on the 4 April at 3pm. Thanking everyone for their support and understanding during these times. 08.01.2022 Congratulations to all the swimmers today at Hervey Bay. It was a small but enthusiastic crew who pushed themselves outside their normal ‘safe’ events. Not all were PB’s but 110%effort from all. It makes a coaches job easier when you have such a great bunch of swimmers. Extra big congratulations to age champion Asha who even managed a 100 breaststroke!! A fine example of nothing is impossible when you are dedicated and willing to give it a go...

03.01.2022 Swimming Carnival is on! It's a go! For those children involved in the swimming carnival it is on today. The playground is already a sea of sports house colours as kids arrive at school. Good luck to all teams.
